Really beautiful very happy with this.

Good size, not too large, not too small. Medium. Well made. Looks antique and more valuable than it is. I am pleased with the purchase. The case it comes in is attractive as well. It would make a thoughtful gift. It will withstand the test of time. The sand goes down smoothly, no issue there. It takes about 3 minutes, the duration of cooking an egg past boiling time.

Three minute timer, well worth the money. I calibrated the timer; Accuracy & Repeatability at 3 minutes +/- 2%.

This was so much smaller than I imagined. If it was full size, I would adore it!

What I like about this beautiful item is the message. I used it for my to decorate my desk .

I was expecting a much larger hourglass (but that's my fault). It's certainly not an HOUR glass but a 3-4 minute glass. So depending on what you want, just take note. It was about 5" tall and a very small diameter. What's VERY COOL, however, is the leather case in which it comes. It's BEAUTIFUL, sturdy, and could be used for other things like shaking up dice.

stiDie Sanduhr ist wunderschön, sehr gut verarbeitet, die Zeit mmt genau, ein tolles Deko-Objekt, der Spruch ist auch sehr gut zu lesen auf beiden Seiten, ideal für die "Kleine Bildschirmpause". Die Sanduhr ist nicht besonders groß, steht stabil und fest, mit der Lederhülle sieht sie sehr edel aus und passt auf jeden Schreibtisch. Bei mir steht sie in einer Glasvitrine zwischen den Kristallgläsern. Sie erinnert mich an die Zeit mit der Familie am Meer und an das Reisen in schöne Länder. Romantisch eben. Ein prima Geschenk auch für sich selbst.
