Not bad!
I have anxiety and when I shop alone it's very hard for me to breathe with my mask on, especially if I start having a panic attack. I do only go to the store for essentials for this reason because masks are inconvenient, but IMPORTANT! I saw this on tiktok so I decided, heck, why not! TOTAL GAME CHANGER!!! It stops my mask from going up my nostrils AND I have room to breathe!I was worried it would lift my face mask up too much which would lead to my mask being ineffective, but it does not! My mask stays on my face, ABOVE MY NOSE, and I can breathe again, without risking my health AND other peoples lives.I can say that because of my anxiety, the little bracket does get sweaty on my face at times, but I can breathe so it's not too bad. Also, it's very lightweight. I forget it's even there! I love this product even more now since it's being recommended we wear two face masks. It makes these days so much easier!BTW I've had COVID19 before (july 2020) which effected my ability to breathe in a negative way because my lung capacity has immensely decreased. I am still recovering.I will NOT be risking my health anymore. I recommend!STAY SAFE AND WEAR YOUR DANG MASK OVER YOUR NOSE. NO EXCUSES. ABSOLUTELY NONE!*** p.s. I wear glasses and the bracket helps my glasses from slipping off my face. it doesn't improve fog tho. I'd say it's about the same. LOL

Good idea and works
The bracket is definitely a good idea and works for most faces and masks. This bracket is a white-ish color. I chose to not sew it, tape or affix it to the actual facial masks. So, it is a second item to remove when taking the mask off. Not an issue for me. I’ve been wearing glasses vs my contacts and I fold and place a tissue between my under eye area & over the nose and under the bottom rims of my glasses. This prevents my glasses from fogging up. However, I have three pieces to remove when I take my mad off - still not an issue for me. This bracket is on the stiffer side but there is a slight give to it.This bracket works best with thin or clingy fabric that touches the mouth/nostrils area or in the case where the fabric literally is so clingy it is in the wearer’s mouth when they speak. The bracket allows for a “little pocket “ over the nose and mouth so breathing is easier (less claustrophobic maybe) and speaking is clearer. I do have a couple of softer fabric masks whereby the bracket works well for me.The brackets came in a packet of 5 or 6 so I gave 2 to friends. Everyone’s face is shaped differently so it might take sampling other brackets as well. The other bracket I gave away the individual did not want to even want to try/work with it.So, good idea, might have to work with it a little. For others, might have to experiment with other options to find the right one.

Bigger would have been better
Mixed feelings on this product until I altered it. Being I'm an adult and female, these ran a bit smaller then I would have liked. I didn't even suggest one to my bearded husband. I stitched this into my mask to make it more permanent. I wash my masks by hand so it didn't alter my ability in doing so. When first using it, it would make my mask slightly fall down off my nose. This was due to the chin rubbing on the bottom of frame when I would talk. I was unhappy with this occurrence. I decided to cut off the bottom part of the frame. This was easy to do since the plastic/silicone is plyable. The frame still sits up off the nose and mouth as the top part of the frame still holds the mask out from the face. Can now talk without the frame making the mask slip off. It does make a difference in the ability to breath and speak. Provides more room inside the mask so it feels less suffocating. Top of frame still fits good on my nose even though the bottom was altered. Does not attach to a cloth mask which is why I tacked (sewed) it to mine. Otherwise you could possibly drop it whenever you remove your mask. Generally you place it in your mask, hold the mask to your face as you attach mask to your ears.

for asian noses
mother in law is required to wear a mask at work, but being filipina, she has no nose bridge to hold the mask out away from her nose and was experience discomfort with the disposable masks (made in the same place the covid was manufactured, coincidentally enough), so these were ordered at her request. she says they are tricky to put on under the mask, but once on they help her breathe easier. I tried one out at work as well and found that for a person with a nose, these do nothing for breathing or fogging of glasses. the best solution I have found for the mask issue is simply not wearing one, as a cotton fabric mask is not capable, by design, of stopping any virus. in summary, these might work to ease your breathing if you are of the southeast Asian persuasion, but otherwise not much. And best practice would be try and talk sense into corporate safety committees who are more concerned with liability than your actual safety.

Makes it easier to breathe for me
I know, it's all so controversial, right? Wear masks, wear two masks, don't wear a mask, don't wear something intended for doctors and nurses but wear a cloth mask, it has to have a carbon filter and multi-layered, you don't have to if it makes it hard for you to breathe and so on. I think if there was much clearer messaging around all of this it would be much more straightforward for all of us.I think this helps? It at least makes it easier for me to breathe and I'm using a multi-layered cloth mask with a carbon filter. If I'm wearing a mask out of the house for longer than an hour it's still slightly uncomfortable but this makes it a lot easier over long periods of time compared to if I didn't have it.
