I needed to replace the storage compartment seals in a Triton TR189. This worked perfectly. It was a tight fit on the compartment edge which is a good thing because once installed it doesn’t move. No leaks.

I was replacing the door trim seal on my car. It had originally been replaced by another vendor who worked on the car, but the trim kept coming loose. When I finally got down to fix it, I found the channel size was nearly a quarter inch, which was too large for the metal edge it was attaching to.It took me a while to research and check specs on different size trim seals and this one appeared to be the best fit. Once I received it, I put it right into the car and it fits like a snug glove. The trim now stays in place and it looks good.Moral of the story is to measure the thickness of the metal edge it will be attached to and then get a trim seal that is slightly -smaller- to provide a good snug fit. In my case, I used a set of calipers and measured the edge at several places.The quality of the product is nice, with both a good overmolded metal channel and a thick but pliable bulb for sealing. Overall very satisfied with this.

1977 Jeep fiberglass hardtop needed weatherstripping. Make sure you measure the width of the edge it’s clipping to. Critical for a good fit. I had to grind some fiberglass to make an even thickness. This works well. Not as strong as stuff from the factory but it’s easy to cut and bend.

Used this to replace the front (polycarbonate sheet) windows in a Fifties Silver Streak Clipper. The material grips the edge of the aluminum skin well, and the "bulb" is soft and supple and seems to create a good seal against the polycarbonate sheet. I guess I will just have to wait and see how it holds up to weather and UV rays, but thus far I am completely satisfied with the quality of this product.

Old hatch trim was just shot, and actually was separating. Called the local store and they wanted about $300 to do two hatches. Found this stuff and did it myself on the super cheap. Actually looks like it came right out of the factory. I pressure wash my yak after each trip, and no water has ever gotten inside since I put this new trim on. Very happy with it, and even have a bunch left over in case my buddy needs some.

I was struggling to keep a storage area on an RV dry. The RV was pretty new and just started leaking in one storage area. This was exactly as described, very easy to install and worked perfectly. The old seal looked good, but this one stopped the leak.

After repeat attempts I was sent the wrong item. Heard good things about Trim Lok and was hoping to use it. Needed it sooner than later. Had to go with a different product.
