A good starter machine
The media could not be loaded. It takes time and patience to get any 3d printer running so take your time and do the assembly and bed levelling properly. Both are essential to successful printing. There's a lot to learn if you've never done it before but that applies to any printer and this one makes the process easier than most.

Excellent printer and excellent customer service from technologyoutlet
This 3D printer, using Ultimaker Cura slicer software, is capable of producing truly excellent results. I currently use eSun PLA+ in white. 210 degrees print, 60 degrees bed temp.My advice would be to set the nozzle very close to the bed to get a good first layer. I started with a sheet of standard printer paper.1. Pre-heat PLA and wait for it to warm up2. Set the bed level on each corner using a piece of paper3. In Cura using default settings for the Ender 3, set layer height to 0.2, set initial layer flow to 120%. Set bed adhesion to use brim touching the model, 3 or 5mm works well.4. Print will release from bed very easily once the bed has cooled. We have a couple of Ultimaker3 printers at work which cost more than 10x what this printer costs and I would say the Ender-3 produces better prints. The Ultimaker3 mechanism has too much play.I had one minor issue so I contacted technologyoutlet and they sorted it straight away so top marks there.Overall I am very impressed with this printer.

Good 3D Printer but expect to purchase extras
I brought this as I thought it was a good printer as an introduction to 3D printing, and I'm not disappointed. You can use the printer as is, but you will honestly instantly get some extras.Better bed springs. The springs that come with the printer are nearly useless. They will shift after any significant print and you will end up having to re adjust the bed constantly. This one is a bit pricier, but an auto levelling add on. Maybe I was unlucky, but my glass printing base on my printer has a slight bend in it, which meant that one corner would just never have good contact. The auto leveller fixed that and can now print using the entire printer bed. This also saves a significant amount of time and labour, as constantly adjusting the bed gets old very quickly. So minimum, if you purchase this printer, grab the springs. If you see your self using this frequently, splash a bit extra and grab the auto leveller.

Best print quality in this price range
This is a really nice printer. My first 3D printer, so I had a look around and the Ender series are well liked. The V2 was due out when I was looking so I waited until I could get it as it has a few nice upgrades over the v1 apparently.I'm very impressed with the print quality at the price point. Be sure to follow some YouTube videos about building and straightening the frame and gantry, and make sure to tighten everything up right because the instructions in the box are useless. This printer can print very nicely even for a beginner like me if you set it up right. The first modification I've done is to replace the bed springs with "yellow" ones. Everyone refers to them as "yellow" but their defining property is that they're stiffer.

Great, but not out of the box
This one gets the best reviews for a starter printer. And it really is a great introduction to the hobby. However, please do the following.1.the supplied instructions are made for those who are familiar with such things. Ignore them and look up an assembly video on you tube.2. The bed springs need replacing - don’t even bother with the ones they come with. They are weak, they slip and will just cause problems. Again, there are many videos about this. There are also several test patterns to optimise your bed levelling - do not rely on the ‘paper test’ as it leaves too much to chance.3. A bed adhesive spray is mandatory. If you don’t use one you can expect to waste hours of time and hundreds of metres of filament.Do the above and you should avoid most ‘beginner problems’ and enjoy your printer sooner!

Good starter printer for the beginner
Great bit of kit. Easy to assemble and once you get to grips with setting up,, re bed levelling an estop set ups good results.Although you can probably buy it cheaper elsewhere like the protection you get from Amazon

Fast delivery, and it just works.
Delivered quicker than Amazon suggested. Ordered Tuesday morning, delivered Wednesday. Item well packaged, assembly instructions a little unclear so I recommend watching a few videos. Works well so far.
