Dick Figures: The Movie

I wont lie. I'm pretty new to Dick Figures, as I only started watching the youtube episodes 7-8 months ago. Since then, I've watched and re-watched them all countless times. As soon as I saw the first episode, I knew I was in love. Fast forward to about a month ago, and I hear there's going to be a Dick Figures movie (*I know, I know, sometimes I think I live under a rock.) So needless to say, I was excited. Super excited. So excited, that when I saw "Dick Figures The Movie" on Amazon a few hours ago, I didn't even bother renting it. I straight up bought it, because, you know, its Red and Blue in their own movie. How can that go wrong?Well, it did. Now, I'm not saying it was bad. I had a decent time with it. The production values were way up and it definitely shows. And there were times where I was laughing like a mad man. But to me, they were few and far between. Dick Figures, in my opinion, is just something that doesn't work as a movie. It's like they took a plot from one of the 3 minute episodes and expanded it to over an hour. After awhile, it all became a bit tiresome. The same jokes over and over again, and a plot that should have only taken 3 to 4 minutes to play out seem to go on forever. For the first time since I started watch Red and Blue, I was tired of them. I feel bad, because towards the end, I started checking the time.I'm going to stop there. I feel like I'm bashing the movie far too much. I don't consider it a waste of money. Should I have rented it first? Yes. But what's done is done and I can't fault anyone but myself for that choice. And who knows, maybe the next time I watch it I'll like it a little more. Probably not, but hey, I can try.I will say that I do feel like I'm in the minority here. The other reviews are certainly against me, so I'll leave it up to you. Just make sure to adjust your expectations before going in. I wish I had.

This movie had everything for a great movie, solid plot, comedy, action, suspense, drama, stick figures, and so much more. Plus you guys stayed true to what dick figures are and made a full movie. Everyone who has heard and or seen dick figures on YouTube or any place else they are featured on should watch this movie and to anyone who wants a good laugh should as well. I can't see this movie getting old much like the series itself. I'd give more then 5 stars on this movie if I could but they limit me to five so you guys get 5!!!! This is a well made, funny to all kinds of hell of a movie of a YouTube series. If there ever is a kickstarter for a sequel I'd put in as much money as I possible can to see another movie just as good if not better then this one. Dick Figures the Movie...EPICLY AMAZING!!!!!!

Well, it's release day, almost 7PM Eastern time to be exact and I'm still not able to watch it. It's still a great series though! If you're on the fence or have never seen anything of the series, there are I think around 40 episodes on YouTube, published by Mondo Media, the same publishers that brought Happy Tree Friends. If you want a quick explanation, it's about 2 best friends, Red and Blue. They have pretty much completely opposite personalities, but they always stay together, and knowing it's a comedy series, you KNOW it's gotta be good! Especially with a lot of characters that tag along such as Blue's girlfriend, Pink, Lord Tourettes (Green), the Raccoon. Trust me, it's worth checking out! :)

Very good movie, fun from beginning to end, at first i was iffy on the whole having to stream it but even with my awful internet i could watch it without problem very good streaming video player :). To the movie alot of it's action but it has some great moments of red and blue being friends and not being friends, every joke hit it's mark, very refreshing movie. The story itself was awesome with a bad ass sound track to top it off. Buy this movie or rent it but you have to watch this, i had a blast watching this. 11/10 :D

This is one of those movies you sit back and watch just because it's awesome. Well, that and it gives a fan of the web series that absolute chill to see an origin story for Red and Blue. The things they go through side by side are both awesome and rather incredible. Just warning those of you who do police work, policemen of all countries are displayed as complete idiots.I give it four stars because it's a good movie that's entertaining till the end with a fantastic sound track and wonderful voice acting... Despite the fact everyone is a stick figure.

I like it! I love it! I want more of it! And chances, are there will be more. As most of you probably know, Dick Figures was a web series before a movie was created, and with the series continuing after the movie (starting from season five), it's likely that there will be another follow up movie. Stick figures or not, they clearly put in a lot of effort into making this as entertaining as physically possible. If you like the series, then this is an absolute must-have.

Huge fan of Dick Figures, loved the movie. It did seem to drag on for awhile, considering it was only 45 minutes. Even one of our friends who is an avid Dick Figures fan walked out before it was over. It is funny though! Long live Red and Blue!

I only recently stumbled on to their YouTube videos, but this movie lives up to the hype. It was a great escape for an hour and a half. Rouge, Blue, Pink, raccoon and Captain Tourette will keep you laughing. The behind the scenes extras were nice too.
