this is probably one of the most useful things I've ever bought! lightweight, dries very fast, good to prevent flashing people when getting changed at the beach, dependent on colour can put the hood up and pretend you are either a ghost or franciscan monk.... also surprisingly cosy, have used throughout winter

Bought this for drying off and changing after my aqua fit class when changing cubicles are at a premium and also for cosy drying off after using the hot tub. Used it once so far and it dries the same as a microfibre sports towel. Don’t rub, pat. Absorbs moisture well, very roomy and easy to change under without losing your modesty, or dignity, in a communal changing room. Lightweight and not at all bulky, so very practical for carting about to classes. Had a lot of compliments from fellow classmates and questions about where I bought it. Nice fun pattern. The only minor criticism would be that the hood is huge, but it’s not really an issue. Also, some previous reviewers mentioned poppers, mine doesn’t have any. there are handy slits in the sides at pocket level which are useful for changing and you can also take your arms in and out of the large short sleeve openings with ease. I’m just under 5’4” and have the medium size which is roomy enough to change under without swamping me.

Placed this in my small rucksack for a beach trip. The Poncho towel is nice and light weight and makes changing on the beach very easy. No more keeping on those wet swimming costumes. After a sea swim it is good to dry off with and quickly change under the robe. Really encourages one to go back to our UK beaches for a swim again and again. Recommended.

Good quality material. Big and roomy. Very pleased with item.

Takes many washes before dye stops leaking. Not overly happy with fabric. It's like a microfiber cloth so not cosy. It does dry you though. Tends to stick to you a bit. I would have preferred a toweling robe but equally it drys quickly so I will keep using it for swimming. I change in an open ladies changing room where young boys also change so this is ideal to stop me flashing them. Gives privacy so I don't have to go in tiny changing cubicle. Colour is as photo. Would I buy again probably not. I would try a different quick drying fabric. I bought large and need it to have room to put bra on. I put underwear and trousers or skirt on but need to remove for tops/dresses.

Great for coming out of pool

I recently used this garment for the first time after bathing in a choppy sea (Scottish borders) with a full-body wetsuit over a 'shorty' one - it was that breezy and chilly. The beach poncho is light (microfibre) but really kept out the wind and the openings at the side between the press studs (which I didn't need to open) made changing into dry clothes easy. I can't comment on absorbency since the wetsuits had kept my body quite dry, but any damp seemed to have been easily absorbed by the material, so I guess it was fine. I ordered the XL size for length as I'm 6' 1"/1.85 tall and wanted good coverage while changing, and this length was fine. The garment is voluminous enough to allow movement to change clothing under it while keeping covered. It is also lightweight and packs into a small carrying case - much more compact that the ponchos my family had purchased, which were microfibre too but with a towelling-type texture that made them thicker and bulkier. The hood is generous too, although as it doesn't have a drawstring it might blow down on a windy day. Price-wise it was the same as them, and did the job I wanted it to do: to keep me snug on a blustery, cold day and to cover me adequately while changing.

Taille 46 normal poncho en M Bonne Taille. Très confortable à l'aise pour tout mouvement. Absorbant entretien facile. J'attends avec impatience le 2ème produit plus long pour les sorties de spa. Bon rapport qualité prix. Je le conseille.

Utilisation en sortie de plongée. parfait après la douche et pour se changer. Tissus agréable et séchage rapide.

Une serviette poncho qui sert à se couvrir comme tout poncho mais il peut également servir comme serviette pour se sécher après la douche Ou comme serviette de plage et également comme couverture a pique nique. Bref usage multiple. Il permet également de pouvoir se changer après une baignade et cela avec une grande discrétion

Der Badeponcho ist auf so vielen Ebenen extrem praktisch. Er hilft beim Umziehen ohne dass man alle Blicke auf sich zieht. Die Seiteneingriffe sind super, denn egal wie lang so ein Poncho oder Handtuch ist, am Ende muss man doch blank ziehen, um Unterwäsche und Unterteil hochzuziehen. Kapuze ist auch durchdacht, denn wenn meine langen, dicken Locken einmal triefnass sind, kann ich mich noch so gut abtrocknen, durch die wird alles wieder nass. Der Stoff ist wie bei jedem Microfaser-Handtuch dementsprechend dünn und schnelltrocknend; verstehe nicht, warum man deshalb schlecht bewertet, wenn genau das ankommt, was beschrieben wird. Ich bin rundum zufrieden. Teilweise gehe ich schon mit dem Badeponcho ins Freibad rein und/oder fahre im Badeponcho nach Hause. Wenn ich aus dem Wasser komme, werfe ich den über und ziehe darunter mein Oberteil aus oder runter, damit ich nicht permanent nass bin, sieht ja keiner.

Der Winthome Badeponcho kam zügig und gut verpackt an. Verpackt in einer kleinen Tasche und damit gut für unterwegs. Der Badeponcho ist aus Mikrofaser und erinnert vom Stoff schon an ein Putztuch. Das macht ihn aber auch so leicht und klein zusammen faltbar. Die Größe M ist für mich (1,72m) optimal. Noch war ja kein Strandtag, aber ich kann mir gut vorstellen wie man den Poncho nach dem Baden überziehen kann. Dann ist man vor neugierigen Blicken geschützt und kann trotzdem seine nassen Sachen gegen trockene Tauschen. Auch für die Kinder ist das optimal. Dadurch dass er so leicht und klein ist, passt er auch gut ins Reisegepäck. Also ich bin begeistert.
