We've had this book for months and love it.It's vibrant, It's fun, it's quirky, it is a great book to elicit discussion about acceptance not only of those around us but also of ourselves.It's a great addition to any bookshelf where you aim to support your children to grow up being well rounded, accepting, loving people who develop a good sense of self and self esteem.

This book is such fun to read my toddler and I love it.

I love the names of the Queens in the front cover - my favourite is Pina Buttah-Gelee and Rita Booke 😂@lilmisshotmess - I love their dedication ‘…for all the future queens I’m training…’And @olgadedios_ ‘may these illustrations motivate us to colour our lives with fantasy and freedom’ ❤️On the back it reads ‘The author is proud to support @dragqueenstoryhour a non profit that hosts story times that capture the imagination and play of childhood and give children glamorous, positive and unabashedly queer role models’ ❤️This is SO important.

How far as a society have we fallen when this is deemed acceptable/appropriate for kids. The images alone would haunt a child's dreams.

The illustrations are brilliant but why do children need education about drag queens. In real life they ridicule women by using cruel and crude stereotypes.I am a part of the LGBT Q community and for the life of me do not understand why this is appropriate for kids. Drag queens are adult entertainment.

I bought this book for our four year old son. It helped him learn to read, it's a fun song / rhythm to sing along with. Sometimes i even put on the music video of LMHM reading it out loud, you can find it on youtube. The Art in it is beautiful! very cute book and you can tell that Little Miss Hot Mess wrote it with nothing but love and heart. This book is so impactful that it helped our young son come out as trans, he even started dressing in drag. We always knew deep down he was a girl, so this book really steered him into the right direction. He's only in pre school and he's already made another trans friend as well! I give this book a 5 out of 5! Overall, it served it's purpose.

So sad that a loved childrens rhyme/ song has been distorted like this.Why cant the writer make up their own song/ story/ rhyme instead of stealing someone elses for their own agenda.
