I know, I know. You see Roktavor packaged with Spryzen and it seems like Hasbro is trying to find some way to get people to buy Roktavor because it is typically a pretty weak Bey. My kids and I never use the old Roktavor we have. This time Roktavor comes with a forge disk and performance tip found on plenty of other Beys, so do you really want to buy this set just for Spryzen? Well, when put together, this version of Roktavor is actually decent. I am not sure why, but it doesn’t burst all the time like the last few releases of this Bey. Not only that, but the colors of the energy layer look really nice. Maybe you aren’t just buying it for Spryzen after all then? This one actually has some use and looks cool. Next up is Spryzen. This is why you consider buying this set. Spryzen has been a very strong Bey the last few releases, and this one is no different. It has a cool feature where you can put ANY chip on the energy layer to make it left or right spin (I think every Hypersphere Bey should be able to do this as it would be an easy gimmick for Hasbro to do and really inexpensive - unlike trying to do this in last versions, but then it wouldn’t be unique here I guess). This is cool. Want Lord Balkesh? Lord Dragon? Really cool. The performance tip is also unique here and isn’t found elsewhere as far as I know (we own almost every Hypersphere Bey released and watch the release videos to see which we buy - almost all lol) and is pretty good. Overall, a solid set that I can recommend to an extent. We use both, and they do look really nice. Spryzen is its typical strong design, and Roktavor is nothing special but sufficient. Is it a must have? No. If you have the last couple releases of Spryzen, you may want to pass on this, but I do like having it in our rotation, so if you don’t, it is a good pickup.....besides, you may also like being able to make Lord Luinor, Lord Valtryek, etc.
