I bought this book because "The Empire Strikes Back" has always been my favorite Star Wars movie like many people. To be frank it is a cool little book and it is basically the movie in pictures with bubbles for the dialogues like real comics but instead of drawings it is in photos. There are basically only 2 things that are a bit disappointing with this book. First, the quality of the pictures is lacking in terms of definition, they are a bit blurry and paperback does not help. Second, it is not a big book, just a little bigger than a pocket book. But it does the job but could have been better without too much work! I would recommend for big Star Wars fans only!

A nice paperback book with the story of The Empire Strikes Back in photos, with the dialogue in text balloons. Its nice to see this idea in English form from a new publisher (Japanese and German versions were available from different companies).The only difference this book has compared to a comic book is that the drawings are replaced by actual movie photos. The idea is nice, but the photos are retouched and 'made to look' more like drawings rather then 4K resolution photos... and in my opinion that is also the drawback of this book. Its not a comic, its a photo comic! Then use the photos as they are, as the picture in all its clearity is actually the beauty of Star Wars! This looks closer to a VHS comic book then a 4K BluRay comic book! Another drawback is the size of the book. Its half the size of a regular A4 -sized magazine. That makes it compact, yes, but also makes the photos that deserve a 2 page spread still very small.., and there aren't any 2 page spreads even! The softback covers grease and tear quickly but its feel nice in hands while reading through it... But where's the opening crawl??? Nicely added with the opening shots, however I would have liked to see the iconic crawl depicted as well.Overall, it is a nice little book, that could have been a tiny tad better if more dedication was given to it. I still love it though, but its not the greatest issue of the greatest movie...
