I'm sure glad i measured the old one before I ordered. Did you know that there is two belts that are suposed to fit my Craftsman 46 inch yd3000. one is 95 by 1/2. Mine is a 101/5/8. Another thing that I liked about this belt as their description and the fact that they give you a choice {before you order the wrong one and have to return it} right on the description page. Top Quality belt, better than OEM. Worth the extra Buck or two. As always Amazon shipping was right on the ball and it was delivered a day early. Perfect fit and works great. Just got it on and started to rain. story of my life.

I ordered this mower deck belt for a craftsman 42" deck. I made the mistake thinking that all 42" craftsman mower deck took the same type of belts. Made one pass and the belt shredded to pieces. I then ordered another belt according to the model #. Lesson learned. The belt that shredded was of good quality, just my mistake.

It fits and works well for about an hour then it shreds for some reason, everything seems tight and in place,the original belt lasted for years .
