Although they are a similar diameter, you require the MX2326 BMW canister wrench

If your BMW has the same engine as a 2009 328i, the 86mm wrench will work. A must have tool because I tried every other way to remove housing with no success, using other means of taking off filter can damage or even break housing .

I don't think so. Yours needs the 6 point, I believe. Check with your local Volvo or parts store to be sure.
