Great quality at a good price.
Great for winter when gloves make it hard to hit the sweet spot on the radio broadcast button. These allow you to hit the button anywhere and broadcast. Nice to have the speaker closer to your ear. Never had a problem with these. Weather did not affect but sealing connection with silicone seems a smart move.

Clear sound
These mics have a surprisingly clear sound, especially for the price. My brothers and I use them while riding dirt bikes, and have no troubles communicating with each other.

Great value... for what they are
It seems that most microphones have a similar flaw from the factory, whether Baofeng or Icom or whatever. The signal reports often say the audio is a bit muffled. The problem is that there is a very tiny hole for the actual microphone element, and especially in the case of the Baofeng speaker/mic, it is way off to the side so it looks good from the outside, but restricts functionality. There are multiple YouTube videos showing how to remedy this. Some I disagree with, but they all show drilling a different, and larger, hole and adding a small piece of foam between the microphone element and the hole. I personally don't put foam all around as I don't want to restrict the speaker function. I don't want it muffled. I tried it, and took it back out. I also don't remove what someone called the shroud around the element. This batch of microphones don't have the element soldered to the PCB so it would be unsupported. I use a centerpunch in the center of where the element goes, drill a hole, put in a tiny piece of foam, and reassemble. You do need to take care and pay close attention to how it came apart so you can get it back together properly. I have done a few microphones and it only takes me a few minutes, and the results are very good.

Crystal clear with good clarity
Item is very clear. Usually, some connector mics sound distorted when transmitting. The clarity sound from these are crystal clear.

great product!
The BAOFENG Microphone Police Walkie Talkie Mic is an excellent accessory for my UV-5R BF ham radio! The sound quality is clear and loud, making communication much easier. The build quality is solid and feels durable, so I’m confident it will last through many uses. The long cable gives me flexibility in movement, and the clip is super convenient for attaching it to my gear. The push-to-talk button is responsive, and overall, the mic feels comfortable and easy to use. Whether I’m out on the field or using it at home, it has significantly improved my radio experience. Highly recommend this mic for any Ham radio enthusiast!
