You can bevel them on a plane machine

The issues you need to be aware of is the type of wood (this is genuine teak). The plastic bracket that it sits will most likely be different and it will not click together like it would with the BareDecor tiles. Also the overall height of the tile might be different. So to answer your question, no there is not a standard.

Q: how can you prevent from falling off the steps on a patio?

My patio is a concrete slab that is an extension of the house slab. I laid the tile directly over the concrete; the end piece lined up perfectly with the end of the slab so I don't have any steps. Sorry.

Sailboat Cockpit Sole.

Excellent wood and base! Zinc plated screws (~27 per tile) not so much. Replaced with SS. Will be building teak sole for sailboat cockpit.
