Works with late 2009 27” iMac in target display mode
I use this cable with my 2013 Mac Pro (trash can) connected to my old 2009 27” iMac in target display mode. No issues and it’s a great way to keep an old iMac useful. I’ve tried other cables and they do not work with the 2009 iMac (probably because they are thunderbolt 2 and not DisplayPort)

Perfect cable from MBP to 2019 27" iMac
It was delivered on time. The cable is quality-made and has performed better than expected. I needed a cable that would allow me to use my 2011 27" iMac as a monitor for my 2015 MBP. No fuss with connecting the two machines and will extend the life of the old 2019 27" iMac as an external monitor.

Good sturdy cord
Mainly got this cord to use second iMac as a extended monitor. After research and finding out why cord DIDN'T work. Any iMac after 2015 is not supported for that function.

Don't waste your money...
I had high hopes for these cables, but found that these "compatible" cables are not "compliant" cables. Pass on them IMHO...I purchased a couple of Dell P2715Q displays directly from Dell and noticed both a bit of "lag" and my Mac and PC did not recognize the displays as I had expected. I discovered on the DisplayPort.org web site more information about "compliant" devices and elsewhere about issues with displays not waking from sleep properly, power return over Pin 20 issues, and failure to properly convey EDID information between a PC/Mac and a display in DisplayPort cables. I used a multimeter on the mDP-to-DP cables supplied with the Dell displays and found that power was being conveyed over Pin 20 - which meant to me that the stock cables were NOT DP compliant...I ordered a couple of these cables to remedy my situation. I also ordered another brand of similar cables (Cable Matters). Both offered an inexpensive "fix" to my issues with my Macs and my PC.Suffice it to say, these cables are NOT DP compliant. They do NOT properly convey EDID information between a computer and a display and do NOT properly allow a display to wake from invoked sleep. I tested these cables on 15 Macs and PCs, and they're in a bag destined to be donated - so, a waste of my money.I eventually found that this product, by Accell, works: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0163LQUH6/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_4 - they're compliant, work as expected, and do not require 3rd-party hacks. My Macs and PCs now "talk" to my displays, properly conveying EDID information - name, resolutions, orientation, and my computers actually run cooler now. The Accell cable is the one to buy!

Works great to get 4K 60Hz on Dell 2715Q using MBP 15 Retina 2014 as video source
It worked perfectly to connect Macbook Pro 15 Retina 2014 to Dell 2715Q. I got 4K 60Hz without any tweaks or adjustments. Considering that many reviewers had problems getting 4K resolution from the same model of MBP I am happy with this purchase.Cable is sufficiently flexible which is important for 3 feet long cable.Surprisingly number of choices for min DP to mini DP cable is really small but this one worked fine for me so I cannot complain.

Eureka, it connects and works!
Quality is good and expect it to last better than average. price is affordable and quality seems quite good. I use it to connect 2 iMac's and can toggle one of them to be a monitor to the other. So, this is an awesome feature to get out of 2 well used iMac's.
