No it is not electric. It is great for small children.

The scooter comes with lights on the wheels but not music sounds. Very nice scooter !

That’s too much weight this is a toddler scooter my son weighs 60 pounds and I dnt let him get on it. I bought it for my 3 year old who weighs 27 pounds just right for her.
