6mm, not 1/4"
This is not a 1/4" collet. It is 6mm and does not work with 1/4" shank tooling.

Needed this to use an 1/8β Rescue bit. Used it in a dewalt right angle die grinder that only came with the standard 1/4β collet. The 1/8β collet worked perfectly.

Quality is ok. Pilot was machined Metric.
So-so quality is what you would expect at such an affordable price. However, I don't expect this part to break or fail. It will corrode rather quickly if not treated as the metallurgy is a low quality. My only issue is the bit pilot was machined to a smaller metric size than the proper 1/8 size. I reamed mine to size and now have no issues.
