Woody has had the Big Paws Dog 🐶 for a number of years & loves it so much. When we ask him where 'puppy dog' is, he runs to find him for a squeak & a cuddle. Bumblebee has just come to live with us & had no toys of his own. We bought the Big Paws Rabbit 🐰 for him, so it was slightly different from puppy dog and would encourage them to favour their own toy. Early days with that plan! As Bumblebee is very nervous, he has a covered cage at the moment so he can hide away. He has a tendency to hoard all the toys so they can hide away with him, but we are encouraging them to associated 'puppy dog' 🐶 with Woody and 'the wabbit' 🐰 with Bumblebee 🤞The gap between the legs is a perfect size for a dog's nose and they both love to carry from this point so the legs hang down & swing when the walk. The squeaky legs are robust enough for a tug and both dogs can nibble and squeak them. They are big enough to act as a surrogate pillow and are a good place to rest & sulk, and Lurchers are master sulkers.Please supervise your dogs with the toys if they are pickers and chewers. I had to sew up a couple of the seams on puppy dog when we first introduced it, as Lurchers like to pick things to pieces and pull out stuffing. Woody has pretty much grown out of this as he is 10 and Bumblebee is 6 so shouldn't be too much of an issue but I check the toys every day to make sure they are intact.

with my 3 month old labrador puppy, she likes mouthing big paw toys and a squeak in each leg is a big bonus.
