Course Design: A Guide to Curriculum Development for Teachers

This book is a good background to the ever changing field of teaching. Be it PASS - or Core Curriculum - or whatever the new model for creating a course. This will fit all the new and upcoming things that are being thrown at teachers.

This textbook is structured as ideally as any course book would be that is project-based in its nature. The way the assignments were naturally placed throughout each chapter made the process of developing a course very manageable. I did not get to finish the course for which I purchased it, but as a teacher I found it useful for a couple of other classes.

I needed this book for a graduate class. It provides a good overview of the concepts in developing course curriculum.

Had to have this book for an online education class. It was interesting to see the stages some go through to design a unit but in the real world of education, one would have to spend every waking moment to do this for a year's worth of curriculum. Then they wouldn't have time for family or friends.

This book was required reading for a graduate level curriculum design course. The content was very helpful
