Steady as it goes
I'm a city dweller needing an alternate way to get around town especially in the age of corona. After giving up on super lightweight scooters, I opted for this one. First off, while it's probably light for its class, this is not that light. It's 27 pounds. A guy like me can carry it with one hand but it's still pretty heavy. Pick up 27 pounds at the gym and you'll know how heavy that is. Assembly was a bit tricky as you need to connect the brake cable to the handle bar which wasn't that clear in the instructions. Fortunately I found a user's YouTube video which helped. I took it to the park for the maiden voyage today. The display on the handlebars were bright and clear showing MPH, gear (first or second) and battery status. Once in the park, I set it to the highest speed which the display read 15 MPH which is plenty fast for a scooter if you want to avoid serious injury. Once in cruise control mode, I set forth to one of the big hills where the scooter performed very well barely dropping below 13 MPH and then activating the disc brakes on the downhill to keep the scooter in control. The handbrake took it out of cruise control and was effective to slow and eventually stop it. The battery display was a bit concerning as the level would drop on the uphills and then regain on the downhill so it was difficult to judge exactly how much juice was left. By the time I made it back home, I had gone 7.4 miles and the battery was about half way which I thought was fair considering the numerous hills it had to take. I recharged fully in about 2 1/2 hours. I found the ride overall to be pretty smooth and sturdy. The built in front light is bright. My few issues are these: the back fender only has a reflector, not an LED light, so you might want to get an extra one you can attach to you helmet or a belt. Also the back fender is just that. It's not to be used as a brake. While the handlebar brake seems to work well, that's the only way of stopping the scooter in a shot distance. The bell is decent, not great, and positioned a bit too forward on the handlebar. And to shift from first to second, you have to find the button on the main shaft and press it which isn't very convenient if you want to switch while riding. That being said, for getting around town, it's a good ride.

Fun Fun Fun
Fun ride! I received the scooter a little more than Two weeks ago and have ridden it most everyday since. First let me say it’s tons of fun.I’m 54 yrs old, 5’7 and 165Ibs. I bought two, one for me and another for my daughter. We live in the ‘burbs so I don’t use it for a commuting, we just scoot sidewalks and neighborhoods. There‘s about a 25 degree hill that I have to climb to get out of my neighborhood and the scooter gets me up the hill at about 5.5 mph in first gear and around 7 mph in second. Coming back down that same hill it’s gotten to more than 20 mph. YIKES!At 54 my balance isn’t quite what it once was and I wiped out the first day but it’s been smooth sailing since! My 23 yr old daughter hasn’t wiped out once and she doesn’t let me forget it!It’s very zippy and seems to takes off pretty fast until you get used to it. In first gear you cruise at 9.5 mph and 15.5 in second. I haven’t tested the distance on the battery. It’s a bit bumpier than I expected on sidewalks but not enough to keep me from enjoying the ride. For my first electric scooter it’s perfect! If we continue riding as often as we do now we’ll probably upgrade to a scooter that has a smoother ride but comes at a heftier price tag.We were having so much fun my husband bought one too! He got one that could handle a little more weight than this one.I’ll update this review if things change but at this time I didn’t hesitate to give it 5/5 stars.I do wear a bicycle helmet and yes I look like a dork but hey it’s a blast to ride.A couple things more...When you break it feels like you’re about to take a header over the handle bars until you get used to it.If you’re a scooch on the other side of middle age like myself give yourself time and start out slowly.I’ve ridden motorcycles since third grade so I was too confident on that first day, I learned quickly to watch the surface for bigger cracks, bumps and potholes! I would definitely buy it again and would recommend it to a friend!!!

Fast scooter! Small storage. Easy set up.
The media could not be loaded. The unboxing and set up was super easy! I’ve got a tight hall at the exit of my house and it folds up and hangs on my rack out of the way which is very convenient as I don’t have much dove to store stuff. This scooter cruises! I like that it has 2 gears so my younger daughter can use it too. I have friends just down the road that I use to skate board to but this is so much faster! I have had it for about 2 weeks and have used it a couple times going on walks/bike rides with the family and still haven’t had to charge it. This is a fun scooter! Excited for summer time.
