Q: Does this have alcohol in it?

IT contains methylchloroisothiazolinone which is is used as a preservative in many cosmetic products. It has a chemical make up similar to alcohol but I don't know if it is actually alcohol. The soap is really lovely to use and I have had no problem with sore hands from frequent washing as I had with other liquid soaps.

I no longer think E45 is in this soap. Not printed in ingredients.

Q: is this the same as the bar of dettal soap and any good for prickly heat?

Sorry can't help you on that. I do use the dettol in all bathrooms, the utility and downstairs loo. No problems with visitor's using. I think it's something you need to try if your unsure before you order a few. Their Web site might say about it being the same as soap bar

Q: What does Camomile smell like

Like a very mild version of camomile tea. A quite faint smell. I actually prefer the rose version of this soap.
