I am writing this review to help other backyard chicken owners make a solid decision when they are looking for a coop for a few chickens. It’s important to understand that you are buying a coop that is not meant for a farm or a professional chicken owner, but it is a cost effective way to provide shelter for 2-6 chickens in a backyard setting. I’m a 70 yr old woman and I had no trouble putting the coop together, this is the 2nd coop I have ordered as I added a few more chickens.This coop came earlier than stated, was packed well, no broken parts and everything was there. The directions were easy to follow, you don’t need a lot of tools but I did use my little battery operated screwdriver. It is important to remember to not use to much force or you could possibly break or splinter the wood. After it is put together, and I believe these tips extend the life of the coop, paint the entire outside with a stain/sealer 1-2 times. I also place the coop on top of plywood so it is not effected by the damp dirt and it is in the shade, I live in So Cal and the sun will destroy it fast. With a little extra care your coop will last longer than expected and be a good setup for a few chickens in your backyard.

The item came damaged. I don't havetime to wait for a replacement and already threw away the box so making repairs

The instructions could have been better, but we figured it out. Our hens seem happy with it and it looks nice in our pen.

If you're going to purchase this coop it will need some improvements.

Broke on day one when we put chickens in.

Where to even start? Came with many broken pieces, super small, ramp is super steep. Locks don't line up very well. Also missing pieces. Really wish I would've saved my money, this coop is a very disappointment! Please save yourself the headache and money and don't ignore the bad reviews. I really wish I would have!
