Box all open and damaged
Product arrived opened covered in postal stickers instead of proper packaging. Given this was an expensive electronic item, more care should have been taken. Returned for refund as box looked like it had been kicked around the delivery van.

Annoying
My kids never got into the books somehow. I understand others have, but mine have always put the books out and gravitated to just using the default "games" built into the front and back covers. And here I have to say - I hope there is a special place in h3ll for the people who programmed them. They are incredibly annoying - just nonsensical noises and the "abc" song sung by some elves on speed who've inhaled helium. Beyond awful. Actually almost incomprehensible so doesn't teach kids the alphabet. As an adult you want to tear out your hair and smash the leapstart on a wall after a minute of that.I don't think this book does anything that tablet or phone apps can't, and to learn basics like shapes and numbers to ten we've mostly relied on paper or wipe-clean workbooks.
