Awesome light. Expensive, but worth it
I paid £87.96 for this on 20/12/22 during a sale. It felt expensive even on discount, but when it arrived and I had set it up I felt a lot better about the price, because it's a really decent light. It feels very well made. The fitting used to attach it to a desk works great, and it fits easily onto the corner of my desk. The arm for moving the light around has the perfect balance of stiffness to keep it exactly where you move it, while also being easy to move it - you change the high and and position by dragging it around, and the angle of the light on the arm is changed by loosening/tightening an adjusting wheel. The light itself is very wide - I measured it to be about 50cm. The diffused light it emits makes it perfect for illuminating whatever is beneath it from all angles, so it's great for activities like painting models where shadows can be a pain. It's also super bright, so much so that I always put it on the lowest setting while using it (there are 4 brightness levels). I don't know this is definitely the case, but the tone of the light feels like sunlight - when I have it on during the night I feel like it keeps me awake/alert.Overall, I highly recommend it! I think it's a fantastic product, and would certainly buy it again.

Good Quality
After the purchase of a couple of cheaper lamps I finally decided to buy this lamp despite the cost. It was a good purchase in my opinion. The lamp is of a high quality and runs off a 12v (I think) wall adapter. So you could, in theory, power it via an alternative source. As of the time of writing this review I have owned the lamp for just over two years and have been using it almost daily. It is mounted above my main work place clamped to a wall shelf. I have modified the swivel bracket (by filing off a metal tab) so that I have a choice of shining upwards for a diffused light or shining directly onto my work surface for intricate work. Another (bigger and brighter) Neatfi lamp has been purchased and I will be using this in another part of my work room. That says it all about what I think of Neatfi and their lamps. It's better to pay a bit more to get a better product and Neatfi certainly delivers.

Stylish and easy to pose
I bought the Neatfi XL based on recomendations from Miniature Painting forums. It provides great lighting, is easy to pose to illuminate exactly where you need and the clamp holds it steady. My only critisism is that the on/off/brightness switch feels a little flimsy, especially for the price of the lamp but overall a good lamp for working under.

Excellent lamp
I bought this lamp in order to help me paint miniature figures for wargaming. I had read several reviews for several different lamps, but the reviews for this one were quite good, and it was not too pricey. Yes it is close to one hundred pounds, but if the lamp lasts as long as it should, it represents excellent value for money. I am slightly older now than when I last did painting, and I wanted to get into it to such an extent that I could start submitting projects for competitions. I have used it in the last fortnight and have not been disappointed. It gives excellent coverage of the model and there are several light settings, so if the light is a bit on the bright side, you can turn it down. Using the light I can pick out some fine detail without the need to resort to a magnifying glass. It is easy to set up and very stable. I do not have a dedicated room for my modelling, so I end up working on the dining room table a lot. Once clamped in place, it is very stable and easy to control in terms of how close you can put it to the model. You can also fully extend the top part of the arm without the lamp coming out of the clamp due to the altered weight distribution. The only thing that I would point out is that the lamp cannot rotate 360 degrees and it can be a little awkward to move it around until you are use to it. There is a pivot guard just above the light that can get in the way of it's movement sometimes. This is only a very minor issue and once you get used to dealing with that, it becomes easier. Because it is so minor, I have kept this to a 5 star review. If, like me, you are someone who is coming back to a hobby due to staying indoors and need some light to help you, then I recommend this light.

Just purchased a second Neatfi desk lamp
Updated1st PurchaseAs desk work light to go in wife's sewing room. Clamped to desk, positioned over sewing machine, the light is a good length at around 20" and giving a good white light that I'd guess isn't too far from daylight (5500K) which for this type of work or anything that involves colour is vital. Many similar lamps will give off a much 'warmer' colour light which means you wont see the true colour of the things you are working with. The human eye is designed to see 'true colour' in natural daylight which is around 5500K.The light output is excellent giving a bright defused light on the work area, the lamp is height adjustable over a good range so you wont be banging your head into this lamp. When we were ordering my wife was a bit "£95 for a desk lamp!!!" but now it's installed is very pleased. Classic example of getting what you pay for.Negative pointslamp offers a range of output levels by multiple presses of the on/off switch, can't see this being much use suspect for most it will either be on at max light output of off but a minor point.Would I buy this again? YES in fact I have my eye on an illuminated magnifying lens version of this lamp from the same company for my desk!2nd PurchaseFinally decided to go with the regular desk lamp rather then the unit with the magnifying lamp as I'd only use the magnifying lens occasionally but its got a slightly lower light output of 1600 lm against the regular desk lamps output of 2200lm.So having purchased two I'll leave you decide if that's a recommendation???

Incredibly Robust and Bright
This has changed my view on articulated desk lamps. The flimsy tin things of the past are redundant. From the moment you pick up the clamp, you know you have purchased something of substance. The arms and lamp articulation is virtually limitless. The light is wonderfully bright.
