1602497 Vermont Casting Resolute Acclaim Refractory Assembly (Combustion Pkg)

We checked everywhere and this was the best price. It was packaged well and arrived on time. My husband was very worried about assembling it, but it fit perfectly. It saved us from buying a ne $3500 stove.

The price was good. Item arrived promptly and seemed to be correct dimensions, but when installed it I discovered that it was a little too thick to allow the damper to work correctly. So I had to take it apart again and do some custom work on the back of the combustion package to make it go back further so damper would work. There were no instructions included to explain this process. Hopefully, it will be good for another 10-15 years like the original was.

Squirrel got in my stove (fell down the chimney) and tried to chew his way out ! Ruined the refractory. What a mess. Yes, I got him out alive , wife asked what color he was. Black !!! This new refractory fit perfect, ez to install and now the stove works lke new.
