Hey guys if you are looking for the kind of mask that you want to look good in photos in, this is the one to buy.This is coming from someone who has bought the pleather one before and the big problem that comes with those masks is they dont look good for getting a picture in! they get misshapen from walking around and by the time you get a photo it looks like garbage.this mask in comparison to the other one also does not have a second strap for the bottom part of the mask, You would think that this would be a problem but with my pleather one the second strap on the part of the mask got in in the way of the wig, and it was always a hassle to manage on the fly, instead the bottom part of the mask is buttoned into the eyepatch and the straps are Velcro instead of belts, making the whole thing really really manageable on the fly, in the future ill be looking to this company for any other cosplay that requires something like this.The one thing one person before has said, is that opening the mouth while wearing it to achieve the "kaneki" look isnt possible due to it being rigid shaped rubber. Which in my opinion is fine, the trade off is much better.WORD OF WARNING, make sure you know that this mask is meant for a medium to small head, you guys with bigger heads are not gonna like the fit.

If you're not sure which Kaneki mask to buy, this is the one. The detail is fantastic. This is a formed rubber mask, not a flat, stitched fabric mask with the teeth printed on (like many of the cheaper ones). It's simply amazing. The teeth are formed white rubber, gums painted red. Wildly better quality than I expected or hoped for. It even fits my uncommonly large head (seriously, I never wear hats because they never have one big enough for my head :P). The eyepatch strap and the face mask both have velcro-adjustable parts in back. The two bottom rivets on the eyepatch also go through he facemark, so it is one piece, strongly attached and held in place.I'm really amazed.My only complaint it that because it is formed rubber, when unzipped the mouth part hardly opens. I mean, you can force it open with your fingers, but it will never open loosely around your mouth the way the mask in the show can and sometimes does open to expose Kaneki's real mouth. ...but this is a minor detail. I was hoping to wear it through sitting down to eat, but I guess I'll just have to take it off for that. :P ...maybe it will loosen up and become less-stiff with a little wear. ...at least I can still sip through a straw :D

the mask is pretty comfortable, my one and only complaint is the mouth piece will come off with the factory glue. It can be easily fixed with rubber glue or super glue. the mask itself is amazing and defiantly is a huge part of my cosplay piece

The mask itself looks like the anime and I love the overall fit of the the mask. I was confused as to why the eye patch and mask didn’t have the bolts connecting the two and the string to attach it on the other side. Doesn’t look like there ever were any two bolts on the bottom sides of the eye patch, like the picture they use to advertise. I would’ve had zero complaints and a higher rating if those were corrected. The mask itself is made from a thick rubber, which is fine. Materials it’s made from doesn’t matter too much to me as long as I get an item that’s 100% completed. Now I have to spend more money to complete it myself? I think I’m being nice giving it 3 stars, but like I said overall the teeth, eyepatch and mask fit is like how it should look.

Mask is DEFINITELY perfect. All the pieces were there and also came with some extras. Fits perfect. It’s also rubber and not plastic so it’s a bit mor flexible but not flimsy.

I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED! I ordered this for my friend and there's so many things wrong and or missing pieces that are important!Missing pieces:•When I first got it, it was missing not two of the "screws" or whatever you call them that hold the eyepatch together so I had to use the replacements that came with the mask•The ring for the string to go into is gone•One ring on the jawline of the mask is goneBroken pieces•The teeth are broken but can be easily glued I guess•The mask has kinda bubble like rip in it as if it had been melted.

Just got the mask in today, and I LOVE it! I bought another Kaneki mask before and was disappointed by how it fit (or rather how it didn't), but I decided to take a chance on this one and it fits very well, with velcro to help make it as loose or tight as you want it. I thought it came in two pieces but I think I'm actually happier that it didn't, as it makes it easier to wear than the last one I bought. Super easy to breathe and talk through, although if you plan on going out to eat or something, you will probably have to remove the mask, as its sturdy build keeps the mouth from being able to open very far. I will update if the paint or stitching starts to mess up but so far it's exactly what I've been looking for.

Beautiful, beautiful mask. Love how it's so easily adjustable, and fits perfectly under my wig. Super easy to take on and off. When you unzip the mouth, it definitely doesn't open much at all, but it's understandable, as the mask has such s strong structure, and it wouldn't be able to have that structure while also having the mouth be able to open. Overall, it's very well worth the price in my opinion. It's not uncomfortable to wear, and it looks amazing. I haven't had any trouble with it falling apart or anything, but then again, I've only worn it a few times at home for some pictures. We'll have to see how it holds up at a convention. It definitely feels durable though, so I'm not at all worried or expecting anything to go wrong with it.
