I have been using this product for the last 1 yr regularly. It came of great help especially during the lockdown as an alternative to fresh coconut. It’s flavour and smell is extremely fresh. I have used it for making sweets, chutneys, curry’s and never felt the need of using the fresh form. It’s easier to store and extremely convenient. When slightly toasted it releases the aroma of coconut and its inherent oils which helps in enhancing the flavour. Quality is great consistently and I didn’t find any impurities so far. Texture is fine and granular(on the lines of semolina) Delivery is time consuming and takes its own time, so I end up ordering for the next packet much in advance. This is specially for those people who look for convenience, ease , taste , no compromise in taste and flavour.

This coconut product is so fresh and good to use for cooking. I use this for making chutney for dosa. Aftr adding water and grinding, it comes to a good taste. It have a slight copra like taste but not much.

The product is excellent in terms quakity, flavour and price, completely satisfied with my purchase. Ordered 2 KGS and I'm going order 2 more KGS soon.! Perfectly packed and timely delivered by Amzon !!

EDITED after purchasing again: I am a heavy user of coconut in all its forms, and of all the brands of desiccated coconut that I have tried so far, this one is the best — in terms of quality, texture, flavour and pricing. It’s not as dry and powdery as others and has more supple texture and fresher flavour. Despite the freshness, I keep it at room temperature in kitchen cupboard without any problems. The seller recommends use-by date of six months from manufacturing. UPDATE: When I bought the first time, packaging was great. Second time, I received a packet covered in coconut. By the time I finished unpacking and transferring it to a container, the entire table and floor was covered in coconut. It was a mess to clean up. The package and product was intact though, so I think the coconut outside the package came from where the seller packed. Slashing my rating to 4 star from 5.

This product is fantastic value for money. The coconut milk made from this is incredibly flavourful and creamy. Very versatile, can use this product in sweets and baked goods. Easily stores in freezer for longer shelf life.
