I have a Sears 5 burner (17 inch) grill and Sears wanted $53 for each burner. That would amount to about half the original cost of the grill. So I bought a 3 and a 2 set of these and installed them today. You'll need to be careful in setting the length to ensure that where the pipes overlap (male and female pieces) the little gas holes line up. So what I did to ensure that holes stay lined up (some insurance against vibration, etc., and thus block gas release), I set the lenght, then threaded a piece of stainless steel wire through one of the holes and bent each end down to lock it into place to keep the tubes from rotating, then I tightened the screw. The holes stayed aligned. I figured losing one hole out of about 50 or 60 wouldn't make any difference. I fired it up and it worked perfectly. Factoring in shipping and handling, all 5 cost me 10% of what Sears wanted. I rarely write a review. This was such a good deal and product I was compelled to report this success.

These aren't finely machined parts, but apparently they don't have to be. New factory burners for my grill would have been about $40 each so these were a significant savings. The included mounting brackets did me no good. I ended up folding over the tail end and cutting a small section off. I adjusted the air gap to match the factory burners and everything seems kosher. They lit up on first strike and burned nice and blue. I am using them with a natural gas grill. Hopefully they last awhile.

these worked well in replacing my old burnt out burners. Unfortunately after a couple good bbq's one of the burners has stopped lighting and has trouble keeping a flame. I have adjusted the breather several times. Thought it was on the grill end but after changing out with another burner it worked just fine again. Better than paying 60$ for three burners at walmart or lowes.

Worked perfect and saved me from buying another $200-$300 grill. Bet I get a couple more years out of my big grill now. Well worth it.

Easy to install and the flame is good. I might need two more since I jut realized that the other two burners are in decay.
