Bock’s answer… Thunderbolt is not AKA USB-C, but in fact it’s a USB-C but it is capable of being able to transport data using Thunderbolt protocols which can transfer data between 20 Gbps to 40 Gbps depending the version. And the item above it’s like an external drive but instead it is like a partial motherboard that can only hold a slot of PCIe, however the listing makes it look like a proprietary device only(which it could be), to hold a Pro tools card, maybe audio card or a/v or DSP. Thunderbolt connection is a must though, so make sure your pc/mac has Thunderbolt connection. I hope I don't offend you thinking that you might no know what Thunderbolt is, but I want to make it clear for many readers that come by. Thanks
