Once you start reading this book you can't quit until you get to the end

It was a great book, if you just want an easy read. I do not like the fact that the end leaves you hanging. There is no sad ending, yet there is no happy ending. It just ends. You have to read the second book, and it still does not really end. I am waiting for the 3rd book to come out to see what happens to Sarah, the main character.

Story was very good. Kept you wanting to read to see who set the fire & why. Would recommend

The story was inspiring but I did not like the ending. I wanted the problem of the Amish barns that was destroy by fire and the arsonist caught.

This book finish my set and made the other two more interesting I love books about the amish

I gave this book a 4 Star rating because it is a good read, however, this 2nd book in the Lancaster Burning series needs to have Book 3 for the answers to the questions of who is burning the barns. Had I known that Book 2 would leave you hanging this way I would have waited for the final book.

I know I love a book when I start reading slower towards the end. I start finding other things to do so I don't have to finish the story. And that's how it was with this book. I am invested in all the characters. They are now friends that I won't be able to see until the next book. I only hope that it's soon. Anyone who likes Amish fiction will love this book. There is romance, suspense, love of family and friends and a love of God, our heavenly Father. Who could ask for anything more from a book?

If the book was well edited, it would deserve the highest rating. Many words are missing in the sentences and cows eat hay not straw. The characterization is excellent as is the story line.

Having read Linda Byler' s previous books, firstly I'd like to say her writing style has matured into something quite unique. It still retains the simple beauty but has a deeper grounding in maturity.Linda is now one of my favourite authors. It was exciting, and it has left me so excited to read the Witnesses the last book in the series, the characters are interesting, and it just holds your attention on every page!

It was so well written I read it in one night.
