HHIP 1/8 X 5" 10 Pair Parallel Set

I have both 4 and 5 inch sets. They recently switched from wood holders to cheap soft foam holders inside. Other than that, the quality is good for the price. I checked them on a Mitutoyo micrometer and they are pretty good.

Good value, quality storage box.

These seem to be OK. They arrived clean and free of rust and dings. Each pair was wrapped separately in oiled paper. The internal spacers for the parallels are made of a very soft foam-like material that failed to hold the parallels in place during shipping, so some of them were scattered around in the box, and the foam was all distorted. Whether it will regain its shape remains to be seen. I think the box would have been better and more effective with wood separators.

Good little parallels for my grind mill vise. Dividers suck so I 3d printed some with sizes on it.

Great Tool

The packaging box was fine. The outside box that is. The inner box looked fine. But when i opened the inner white box all the parallels were scattered all over in the wooden case that they came in and the pink tissue wrap that protects the oil put on was off of most of them. I think its because the parallel dividers are made of foam and cannot hold the weight of the heavy parallels causing the foam dividers to to collapseor give. Also the wooden case came in a small white box that was not packed properly in the amazon delivery box. So the white box just bounced around inside the bogger mailing box. Im 99% sure thats why the parallels were dispersed all over the place in the wooden box. On the upside, the paralles are all there and intact. The wooden case is just fine. I will be replacing the foam dividers very soon. Downside, packaging for shipping is awful can do a better job. Final take away, all the pieces are there, they still look good and the wooden case and latch are in good condition. Still worth it for the money overall. Would have given a five star but had to make sure everything was there. Also i like taking care of my tools so not having them in there protective tissues till i use them bums me out. 3 out of 5 star for me. Fix that shipping packaging and you can easily be getting 5 starred all over the place.
