10 Seconds Shoe Disinfectant & Deodorizer 5 Ounces

AMAZON NEEDS TO REMOVE THIS PRODUCT FROM THEIR WEBSITE. This product is being marketed as a sanitizer spray for shoes but it is not safe to be used for that purpose. It contains a dangerous chemical that if coming into contact with human skin (which it would through your shoes) can cause cancer and damage your kidneys. There are multiple warnings printed in several places on the can but the seller is not showing images of the warnings, nor are they listing the danger. I am attaching photos of some of the warnings printed on the can. Prop65 Warning: CHEMICALS IN THIS SPRAY ARE KNOWN TO CAUSE CANCER (and according to the EPA can also damage your kidneys); WARNING, HARMFUL IF ABSORBED THROUGH THE SKIN. Do not get on skin or clothing. Wear chemical resistant gloves. This product contains a chemical (o-Phenylphenol) that is on the "Right to Know Hazardous Substance List" which says if it comes in contact with your skin you should "quickly remove clothing. Immediately wash contaminated skin with large amounts of soap and water. Seek medical attention." o-Phenylphenol is a disinfectant used in labs - it is not meant to be sprayed into shoes. I feel sorry for the many people that are using this spray in their footwear and end up having their kidneys fail, or getting cancer. Really folks, stinky shoes are much less of a problem than getting sick and dying from the dangerous chemical in this product and the off-label use.

This is a great East way to disinfect shoes or any other surfaces quickly. You just spray and let it air dry. Dries quickly and smells fresh. My husband works in healthcare, we were looking for an easy way for him to disinfect his shoes when he comes home from work so as not to spread Covid. Works great!

I’m ashamed to say I have very rank feet, and they’re in steel toes for the entirety of my work day. I bought multiple products to try to cover the smell, and this one to attempt to kill the source directly. It definitely heavily impacts the overall odor of the footwear I use it on. DON’T ignore the directions on this product. Wet the insides of your shoes thoroughly, and keep them wet for at least 10 minutes for the antibacterial, antifungal ingredients to work their way into the material. Then, throw them on the boot dryer on high for half an hour. Not perfect, and I may have been using it on boots that were just too far gone to salvage. But overall, 100% preferable to drying alone or trying to mask the scent with other odors.

I just received it yesterday. Hasn't used it and will not use it, unfortunately this item is non-returnable (my fault for not reading the fine line). It is toxic, you must wear gloves (probably goggles to but they don't say), and it will ruin clothes and skin. Should not be in the market, period. Now I am stuck with something I paid over $15 for.

Love this product! My son's soccer cleats smell like cat pee & can smell up a whole area. We sprayed this on the inside & a little on the outside and the smell was gone. Although I love it & it works great I might not buy it again because it's kind of pricey.

My well-used Peloton shoes smell fresh again! I use this after every 2-3 rides to keep them that way. Great purchase; will buy again.

I have some shoes that made the bottom of my foot itch after wearing a while. Sprayed and now no problem. Love this

Give my shoes a little spray every day after work. Not 10 seconds, that seems pretty excessive. Gets the job done
