I recently acquired the Rechargeable Headlamp, and it has become an indispensable companion for all my outdoor adventures. This is a sturdy looking headlamp; around the back is the battery pack containing 2 removable batteries (not sure what size, but bigger than AA), a switch to turn on a red light (solid or flashing) to illuminate yourself behind, for traffic coming up behind you, and a USB-C charging port to charge the batteries when needed, complete with a rubber cover to seal it when not in use. There is an elastic head band which goes around your head and a strap to go over the top, so it shouldn’t move when using it. The straps can be adjusted with buckles. On the front there is the LED bank, containing a total of 8 LEDs, and 2 buttons which are used to cycle through the various light combinations. The back of the LED bank is made of soft plastic, so it’s quite comfortable to wear. The big LEDs are very bright, and then there are options to reduce the intensity as well as having 2 red LEDs. There is a hinge that allows you to change the angle of the light, from straight ahead to straight down in a number of steps. Overall a useful product if you need a headlamp, allowing you to select the right intensity of brightness that you need for whatever job you’re doing, and not a bad price compared to some competitors.

Good quality it has several settings and does the job well

I clipped the headlamp onto my cap and set off on an after-dinner hike. The beam cut clearly through dusk, revealing uneven stones and low-hang branches without needing a handheld torch. Adjusting the angle to look into my backpack was as simple as tilting the lamp, and the adjustable strap never slipped during brisk uphill stretches. Two batteries meant I kept going through several sessions before needing a recharge—USB charging in my car took under two hours. When rain began, water beading off the sealed casing let me carry on without worry. For evening runs, camping and power-out emergencies, it delivers consistent, hands-free illumination.

Very comfortable and fairly lightweight when on, also a good selection of light settings and very bright

It feels quite cheap and has some marks on it out of the box and has a rattling sound inside it. It feels quite light and cheap tbh. I usually only buy Masterplug as they have always been good quality etc.I have been looking for a switched socket with built in USBs that also have switches (not wanting to use a converter) and tbh even if I returned it I do not have an alternative to buy.

Perfect for working under the bonnet and in the garage. I was getting sick of having to hold a torch in my teeth or balance my phone on a shelf when working in the dark. Bought one of these out of anger/frustration, but now I use it all the time. Really bright and moves with your head so when you look in your toolbox it follows you there and then back under the bonnet It’ll Follow you back. Couldn’t live without it
