I'm relatively tall and heavy (17 stone/230lb/110kg and wide-ish backside), so simple/cheap cushions were little use. I sometimes sit for 2-4 hours constantly or only momentarily stand and my, otherwise excellent (and expensive), office chair's ergonomically shaped seat just doesn't have enough padding. With this cushion, I only get the same problem start around 8 hours. Fairly thick at the back, slightly slopes to a thinner front - but no sign of wear despite the chair seat underneath not being flat. Makes it comfier under your thighs on the edge of the seat (than if it was as thick at the front). The base is rubberised and pimpled, to avoid sliding around (no trouble when sitting) and the main cover material/mesh allows lots of flexing, so the material won't stretch out of shape or tear. Well stitched and constructed. I would have bought an even thicker version if available, but many reviewers are obviously lighter than me :) Has a fully adjustable elasticated strap that could stretch a chair's full width, or tighten to the stem of the back rest. Even comes in a smart zippable tube/bag you could reuse or for squeezing this small for travel.

Straps onto seat well and doesn’t move , fairly comfortable if not a little firm . Very wide so may over lap

I am happily surprised with this cushion for my sports car where the seats dip back. I was getting a pain up the side of my leg on long distances, this cushion is perfectly shaped and stopped the pain. It is such a cheap remedy I will get another one for the passenger side. It is so comfortable to drive now.

I bought this cushion to replace an old one. The cushion is quite firm and doesn’t flatten too much when sat on. It raises and tilts me so my driving position especially on a long journey is more comfortable and relieves any aches and pains in my back and legs. I don’t use the elastic fixing strap that goes around the seat as I move it from driving seat to passenger seat regularly, It stays in place as it has little rubber dots on the underside. Am very pleased with it.

Cushion itself is well made & comfy. But it raises your postion in a carseat, meaning your back has no lumbar support. So causes more back pain. Think it will need you to add a lumbar support cushion

Comfortable Has helped with sciatic pain and hamstring strain. I use it on top of a thinner cushion to make it super-soft… being larger is good - prevents the edging cutting into ur legs
