Apa Guidelines (Quick Study Academic) Cards – Student Edition, May 31, 2015

This product is great to have if you are a college student that is going to be writing APA style papers. It covers all of the main APA style guidelines to the T without a bunch of nonsense needed on it. Very nice that they are laminated and hole punched for being able to be carried in your three-ring binder. I use mine every semester on a constant basis and I keep it in my writing binder at all times. As I said, if you were a college student that has to write APA style papers you cannot go wrong with this quick guide line.

I used this APA Guide frequently while in grad school. The guide is a quick way to check to make sure you are using APA guidelines. While it doesn't have all possibilities, it does have the most common possibilities. I think every college student should have this guide.

Got me through my "Methods of Experimental Psych" class and will likely help me through the rest of my psych degree. NOT a replacement for the manual, but a great reference if you are in the middle of a paper, or can't remember something and you need it quickly.I was not paid or compensated for this review - products were bought by myself.

This is a great tool showing APA guidelines, but it's very wordy and sometimes hard to navigate to find things right away.

Great info ! Print to small to fit all the info. And I don’t wear glasses . And Not a boomer .. thoughts it was joke .. so I don’t use it

I purchased this chart to have a quick reference for my students' work as I teach online courses which including writing and citing in APA style. Since I've been using it, I have also been mentioning it as a possible, reasonable cost option to my students.

Overview:* Has some use for beginners, with diminishing returns.* Some parts of this, you'll probably never use.* I wish there was a three-page reference just about citations.* APA 7 now makes this somewhat obsolete.There are different reasons you might need to know about APA.If you are like me, you may be writing a lot of APA papers for school. This has turned out to be a mega lifesaver for me. Super handy. However, I've found that I pretty much just need the last third of this guide. I could tear off the first two parts and throw them away and still be good for 98% of what I need.The first two parts are geared towards more formal papers, like dissertations or peer-review articles. I really haven't found much need for that information. And honestly, I hope I never do. If your circumstances are different, then you might really love having this information handy.The other thing I've found over time is that after a year or so writing APA, I need this less and less. It was a really handy cheat sheet as I was just learning. And I'm really glad I bought it. But if you are already writing a lot, you may not find as much value in this as somebody that is new.Finally, now that APA 7 is out, the information on this document probably is a bit outdated, so keep that in mind as well.

I recommend this to my students all the time. This is a great tool for someone unfamiliar with the APA format or for someone who has used it before but needs a refresher.
