Extremely high quality monitor at a reasonable price
(This review is written from a gamer point of view. It may not be applicable to professional application use.)These monitors (I bought 2) are quite possibly the best things I have bought for my gaming rig. I have now used them for a few months and racked up a couple hundred gaming hours with them. The first thing that amazed me was the resolution. Being able to get a good quality 1440p monitor for less than £400 is great value. When playing FPS games, you do really notice the difference. The extra pixels give you the ability to see smaller objects and enemies you would have missed before. It is especially advantageous for sniping where the extra pixels essentially give you a bigger target when aiming for headshots.Another thing I noticed was just how good the colour quality was. You see this more in games such as Far Cry 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. These games look amazing, with the bright tropical colours in Far Cry being recreated as they should be seen and the dark caves and underground tunnels in Skyrim being recreated with a good level of contrast. I did in a way expect this as it does use the same LG panel as the Apple Cinema Display monitors but it was still better than I had expected. One thing I didn't notice is any ghosting. The response rate for this monitor is extremely fast for a 1440p IPS monitor. It really is not much slower than a TFT monitor.I did notice a massive image quality difference coming from a TFT LCD monitor to this IPS LED monitor. The main performance advantage for TFT was the response rate of the monitor, but with this monitor the advantage is effectively nullified. The only real advantage for TFT monitors now is the price which, although the price gap is reducing, is still much lower than IPS monitors. If you can afford to spend this much on a monitor, it is well worth it. If not, a lower resolution IPS display is still a great investment. One down-point to this monitor which other reviewers have covered before is that the stands for this display are not good. They wobble a lot. They are not that sturdy at all and if you can, buy a VESA mount stand or wall mount, especially if you use multiple monitors to stop them bashing together if you accidentally kick your desk.On the whole however, I cannot recommend this monitor enough and if you have the money, buy it. Do not be put off by the almost unknown brand; it is better than some of the better-known brands. For the price, it is exceptionally good.

Be carful buying DGM.
I recently bought this DGM monitor and for the price I thought I was getting a bargain but sadly it hasn't worked out that way. After a few months the power board blew on the back of the screen which came as a bit of a surprise. I sent it off to DGM to get it repaired but when I got it back I noticed that the fault had caused additional damage to the screen. I now have dead pixels dotted around and a dead pixel cluster near the centre of the screen. To my disappointment DGM told me they are unwilling to help me because I cant prove the damage was caused by the power board blowing and I was also told that under so and so policy pixels aren't covered under warranty which in my view leaves me with a defective product through no fault of my own.I also found the customer service staff rude, unreliable and generally unprofessional.I was cautious buying this product due to the price and not knowing who DGM were but I decided to risk it, unfortunately.

If you need 2560 x 1440 as cheap as possible...
Lasted from Jan 2013 till today, 23/09/16, not the most amazing live time. The colors are poor, sometimes I couldn't tell grey areas from each other, which on the other monitor just looked fine. No height adjustment and the bevel doesn't stay in position. You get what you pay for I guess, but it should last at least 4 years.

Disappointing monitor and customer experience
The first monitor DGM sent me did not work. The power supply light was on but the screen was completely dead. I contacted DGM and they arranged to send another monitor to me and collect the broken one which took another 5 days. The second monitor had light bleed from the right lower corner. I contacted DGM who arranged for another pick up and delivery taking another 4 days. When this third monitor was delivered it looked second hand and had scratches on the base, also the light bleed was much worse on this one. Luckily the collection had not arrived so when it did I gave them back this third monitor. I contacted DGM and they said I could return the monitor and get a refund. I have ended up keeping the monitor as I only paid £250 for it and I have got use to the light bleed. Apart from the light bleed the screen is superb.DGM customer service was okay, but they could not get a fully working monitor delivered which is a total fail at the end of the day. The whole business has been a disappointing one.At least the stand is an updated version that is very sturdy.Having had the monitor for about 3 weeks the blue "on" light does not work any more. Fingers crossed nothing else on the monitor stops working, like the screen.Update - its now 4 months later and the monitor is still working fine. I'm using this monitor all day every day and no problems.
