Picture and sound quality are very good. Not just pretty travelogues, but informative for train buffs. Many varied locations around the world. A worthwhile collection.

This was a gift for my nephew who is obsessed with trains. He is quite pleased with it. That's the only report I have, he is concise with his analysis.

Any railroad buff who enjoys steam will find this collection a "must". Interesting to see US built steamoperating in various parts of the world.. Those interested in international steam railways will be especially pleased..

This set has a lot of commentary about the technical and political aspects of a large number of railroads around the world. There are many close up shots showing how the engines are serviced and driven.

who ever likes train dvds will enjoy this. I am glad I added it to my collection. would recamend it to another train person.

This set, like the T'TRAINS" set, duplicates DVDs in other sets. Hence, it is not a good value.

Also gave thisDVD as a gift, so I don't feel qualified to review other than to say the person receiving it seemed very pleased
