I feel like it works sometimes, not all the time. When it works though, it's great. My cat hates the taste but it does calm her sometimes. I don't use it often anymore but I do keep a bottle always.

Got this for my shelter cat who has serious anxiety. He wouldn't take it mixed with anything.. cat milk, wet food..nada. Noticed after I bought this "This item isn't eligible for return". So be sure before you purchase.

I was ordering this product WITH HEMP OIL from another site for two senior arthritic cats to relieve theeir pain, and it was helping them. I saw what looked like a better deal for the same product on this site, so I subscribed and cancelled the other subscription. I then noticed that one of the cats was limping again and less active, but chalked it up to old age. (The other 18yo cat never limped, so hard to tell. ) I used this product for many weeks before I realized that the large bottle that I was receiving has no hemp oil at all but L tryptophan. I also realized that it required twice the dose, so the cats were only getting half a dose of something that doesn't relieve pain, and this was no bargain at all. When I gave them the full dose, they were just drowsy...and then stopped eating. Apparently this product also tastes so bad that the cats would rather go without dinner if the correct dosage is in their food. As noted elsewhere, it contains lavender too, which is toxic to cats. Needless to say, I've cancelled the subscription. While the two smaller sizes that come in virtually identical bottles do contain hemp oil, I won't be using this product. My cats went without pain relief-and were ingesting a toxic herb for way too long due to either an outright deceptive practice or incompetence. Either way, it's unacceptable.

Really helps

These drops work very well for my 13 lb dog. She has had anxiety for 3+ years. These calm her enough to help her and doesn’t knock her out. She likes the taste too.
