CURT 17062 Round Bar Weight Distribution Hitch with Integrated Lubrication and Sway Control, Up to 10K, 2-in Shank, 2-5/16-Inch Ball

This product has worked great and has stopped the swaying on my 33 foot RV. The instructions could have been a little easier to follow but once installed it is very easy to attached the RV and take off when not using. I would say compared to the more expensive bars, this is a great value and helps alleviate any swaying and poundage of the back of my truck. It was easy to adjust to my RV and truck and the weight of the product is significant since it has to take 1000lb load. I'd recommend this to anyone pulling an RV and it looks great behind the truck as well.

Used this one time and then we bought a new truck and don't really need it now. Worked great on the old truck though.

I ordered this around Oct 2021 and have used it every month since for our camping trips. It was easy to set up and we’ve not had a problem until our last trip a week ago. On our last trip, we drove over 400 miles and when we got home we noticed that the screw for the spring was sheared off. Not sure how it happened. I called Curt customer service and inquired on a replacement. The rep advised me that the part is considered “a normal wear and tear part” which was fine to me as the part is inexpensive to replace. However, it was out of stock with no eta. He offered to send out a replacement middle section since the part I needed was not available. It’s a rarity these days that companies stand by their product and are willing to help out the consumers. Great customer service.

Was missing a bolt but other than that it works great!

I bought this and installed it myself onto a new travel trailer I recently purchased. The package came on time and in relatively good order. There was a hole in the bottom of the box but no parts were missing. The directions for installing were clear and understandable and there were many videos I could pull up showing how to instal both on MFG site and YouTube. I had it installed in less than 45 minutes and pulled my travel trailer home without issue. Great product and I would purchase again if needed.

The sway control arrived with the box in bad shape. But everything was there. I installed it with no problems.

I bought a fairly small trailer (about 4000 lbs, with 500 lb tongue weight. The Curt I bought had 1000 lb spring bars, and I figured I would get some lighter weight bars, because I got a good deal, and the rest of the hitch is the same. When I was assembling the hitch, I got out some extra 600 lb Easy Lift spring bars, and they fit perfectly! I towed the trailer 200 miles from the dealer home, and it towed beautifully! Who would have thought!

I absolutely love this weight distribution system. It's great quality and makes such a huge difference when on the road. We live in a windy area and I have no problem towing my RV with this. I installed the plate for the sway control arm (which is included in the purchase), although I found I never even needed it. The weight distribution was good enough and made such a massive difference in the trailer sway. Good videos online from this company as well on how to install. It was my first time but was a piece of cake.

Bought for my daughters camping trailer. The bars were bit strong (rated to 1000Ib) for her 5,000Ib trailer. Could not find lighter bars on Amazon so fitted them anyway. Install was incredibly easy. Followed the many Youtube videos on line to level the truck/trailer and appeared to work fine. Good price too!

Amazing product, don’t hesitate if you’re thinking about it, it’s worth every penny. Fast shipping, the box was absolutely held together by hopes and dreams by the time it showed up at my door. Thankfully everything was in the box. I touched the box to move it and it disintegrated in my hands.

thought it would be difficult to set up but wasn't and works amazing... no more wagging down the highway!!

We've been using this for over a year now and it works great! Really helps with sway while hauling our trailer.
