Only thermal brush that ACTUALLY works on coarse curly hair! Better than blowdry brush!
To all my fellow thick coarse curly hair girls, I know the frustration of trying tool after tool that doesn't smooth our hair! I've seen a lot of reviews on tools like this by girls with fine hair, and those have not worked for me at all. This one goes up to 430 degrees which is the hottest I've seen, and actually is hot enough to smooth my hair with just a few go overs. I'm seriously so glad I found this to replace my prior method which was a huge round blowout brush, I would have to use my old brush with my hair wet, which meant I couldn't really relax after a shower, it took a while, was super loud that it dulled my ears after using it, and it still would leave me with a kinda frizzy and puffy blowout to the point I had to wait like two days after for my hair to settle into how I actually wanted it to look! This Hot Tools brush, I could put my hair up in a towel, let my hair comfortably air dry, then I used it for the first time the next day, the SAME DAY I was going out, and my hair looked better than it ever would from my old blowdry brush. It smoothed my hair so quickly and painlessly, and it's silent since it is thermal, which is so nice. Now I can listen to a podcast or something while using it, instead of listening to a fan blowing out my ears. I've never written a review on here but wanted to share that this tool was successful for me, to help anyone else who has had years of frustration with the effort and time it takes to do their hair!

Life Changing
I got the Hot Tools brush hair dryer, and became immediately obsessed with how much easier it is to do my hair. I wanted to be able to do a bit of styling some days, though, so I looked for a styler with the same design. This is not a dryer. Use this on dry hair to add shine, body and/or curl to your hair. Guys, this works like a champ. I can use it on a very low setting(for me). On a straight iron, I set the heat to 420. With this tool, I can use it at 350. Much less damaging to my hair. I can use it just to straighten, or twist it through my hair vertically to get curl. I can smooth out any stray hairs...I absolutely love this. Between this and the dryer, I am happier with my hair than I have literally ever been. Bottom line - I am obsessed with these tools. My hair looks better, and it takes about half the time of using a straight iron. Love this so much!

Err comes up when you’re heating up temp
I really liked my first one had it for about two years, an err came up and it no longer heated. I purchased another one thinking I maybe pulled cord from wall socket too careless. Well now just over 2 months and curling brush is coming up with err again. Past return date 😡 not cheap either

Hair stylist recommended!
My hair stylist recommended this and I snapped it up on sale. So glad I did. I have curly hair that is hard to hold a blow out. This really smooths out all the kinks and refreshes beautifully.

Great Multi-Purpose tool with some caveats
I bought this and another heated round brush from Hot Tools and I like them both. This one has a few more bells and whistles than the other - the temperature setting features are really nice. I like the different length bristles. This does a good job though it does take a bit of practice to get the look I want. It would work well as a straightening brush, volumizing brush or even a finishing brush to give a little bit of hot-roller style curls. I have mid-back length thick, highlighted and graying hair. It is wavy when naturally dried and tends to frizz. When I blow dry with the round brush, I have to use a lot of tension and heat to get it to behave. This brush allows me to blow dry roughly. Once my hair is dry, I take 1-2" sections and twirl and twist through my lengths like I would normally do with my vented round brush and the blow dryer. I get a smooth, bouncy finished style. I especially love this tool on my bangs though - it lets me style them to have some curtain fringe without being too pouffy or "curled". And It is excellent for those quick messy bun styles when my bangs need some attention!

Perfect for thick hair!
I LOVE this heated brush! I've tried several different products, and this is by far the best for my very thick hair. The oval shape is perfect to straighten or add a touch of wave. Easy to use and has several heat adjustments. The barrel can get very hot, so the heat protective glove is appreciated!

If you have bangs or layers, you need this brush
Edit: mine died on me aftwr 2.5 yrs. I got bangs a week ago and nothing got them to sit right around my face. I walked around looking like Edna Mode. Saw this Hot Tools heated brush on Julissa Guillen’s YouTube channel and bought it on a whim, not expecting it to do anything for my hair. After all, nothing else had worked. This brush gave me gorgeous, shiny voluminous hair in under 5 minutes. My layers came to life, and my bangs were acting exactly as I’d wanted them to. If you have bangs, this brush is a necessity. A round heated brush will not work as well, at least not in my opinion, unless you prefer the Edna Mode look. I know because I have tried and failed with a round brush vs this oval one. If you have long/longer hair, it will give you beautiful, defined waves. I have thick, coarse, south Asian hair and I love that this brush goes up to 430F as opposed to my GHD Rise, which is like 375F max. For my hair, 390F is a good temperature to keep the brush at. Mine did not come with a glove though, which is annoying.

Think twice before buying but customer service was great
My first lasted about a year or so and then just stop working. Had to buy another one and seven months later stopped working. Sent an email hopefully they make good on it because I’m not the only one having the problem great invention, but they need to Fix whatever is causing this issue. And it was not an item that was used every day because of Covid and working from home. There was no need to do my hair every day so if it was used 2 to 3 times tops a week that’s a lot. UPDATE: Above is still true however I made a claim with the company directly and they were fabulous. I sent pics cut the cord off and they sent me a brand new one. They won’t know there is an issue if you don’t contact them.

I love this brush. it is NOT a hot air brush, which is why I bought it. It is a curling iron brush and it gives you a smooth, shiny blow out look without having to kill your arms blowdrying your hair. I prefer to air dry because i have insanely thick, curly hair, so this was perfect for me. If I were to say anything, it would be that I wish the barrel was a tiny bit smaller so I could get more of a curl in, but that's just because my hair length doesn't allow for it really. Can't imagine you'll regret getting this unless you have super short hair, then it might be tough to use.

Llevo usándola unas 2 veces por semana. El cabello queda muy bien pero si calienta mucho. Úsalo a una temperatura media y con protector de calor para no quemar tu cabello.
