This product is perfect for anyone who wants a soft and natural heating pad that can be washed. While flaxseed heat packs seem to retain heat for longer, they cannot be washed or dried like cherry pits can. For me, being able to wash my heat pack was a necessary feature. My whole family uses this product to alleviate body aches and pains, and just as a soothing heat source during the colder evenings. If someone tosses the heat pad into the microwave without checking if it’s clean...The product holds moist heat effectively for around 15 to 20 minutes, which is long enough for my needs. If you need the heat to last for longer, go for flaxseed. Opt for flaxseed if you have a smell sensitivity, as well. I personally love the cherry smell - after two months a slight cherry scent still lingers. It reminds me of cherry pie, but my sister thinks it smells stale. Could be a toss up.

So nice for my arthritis. Some evenings my hands ache a lot. I'm used to the pain in the morning but this evening pain is new. This helps like almost nothing else. It's not heat like an electric heating pad or even a rice bag. It reminds me more of the radiant heat generated by a hot rock. And I love the smell. It smells like cherries from a tree - not the artificial cherry smell that's commonly used with candies and food, but a true organic cherry smell.

I love these and ordered right away two! They are great cold or warm. I grew up with them and use these also for my kids. They are well made and would do also great as a gift for someone. I will order again!

Smells nice. The warm moist heat feels so soothing. The pillow is the perfect size. I liked mine so much, I sent one to my son, who is a marathoner.

This heating pad was great, but one of the cherries inside got too hot after a few uses and burnt right through the outer red velvet layer. The burnt cherry and molten plasticy red outer portion burnt me, and cant really use it now.

My son who is 3 likes a heat pack to go to bed with. It’s very nice and has a nice Michigan smell.
