Math Workbook Grade 7 (Ages 12-13): A 7th Grade Math Workbook For Learning Aligns With National Common Core Math Skills

We purchased this book to help tutor a student who struggled with 7th grade math. I like the format as it has only a couple of problems per page with adequate work space to solve problems. However there are a few hiccups for me. Several of the problems require some assumptions in order to solve. The problems seem to need more information at times to be able to find the answer. We are located in America and there are a few language things that are worded oddly, which makes me wonder where the book was written. Overall it had been a good book so far.

I lived the fabric, how it draped, and it's length. A favorite of mine now.

Wish this had examples on how to solve the problems... there are no explanations at all making it difficult for a child to learn. I had to sit with my son for every problem.

This book has great ideas, but definitely needs to be proofread and edited! While working with a tutoring student, we’ve found several grammatical errors.

This book is HORRIBLE. Half of the questions don’t make sense or give the correct information in order to solve. Some of the answers given are also not correct.One question directly from the book:“Dean has $1200 dollars to spend. He spent $890.50 to buy a new roller skate. He wants to buy as many ice-creams as he can. If one candy cost $2.50 each, what is the maximum number of ice-creams that Dean can buy?”Answer - “Dean can buy 123 marbles”

I purchased this workbook for my daughter going into 7/8 math. This book did not help at all it was much harder then highschool level math, and did not explain the answers on the answer key or how to solve them. Many of the answers were also wrong. I recommend you do not waste your money on this.

The set up of the book is not very helpful. It doesn't have any teaching or review sections. It only has questions to answer and many times it is hard to understand what they are looking for. We found several answers incorrect and have stopped using the book as it has become very frustrating to use.

Although we found this workbook to be very useful it did not contain common core math that aligned with the city and state I am in.

This 7th grade math workbook in fact has answers associated with every question. The answers are WITH the questions/problems and also in a separate answer section. I think the book was misprinted like this, but for a child having the answers on every page, on every question is not very useful. I will be sending the book back.
