I received a 2-pack of these knobs and upon arrival, everything looked great. I tested the turn knobs and they work as they should. Easy to turn and no sticky points. I installed one in a swivel-head lamp and it was super easy to install. I like the little flared washers under the screw. It's as simple as just poking the wire under the screw and tightening. No stripped screws either.These will be great for my needs. Should last a long time since the bulbs I'm using are LED and don't get that hot. The old lamp bulbs are what normally ruin these sockets due to high heat. The phenolic plastic near the turn knobs normally is the first part to fail.All-in-all, these can't be beaten for the price & value. If I need more, these are the ones I'd get again. I hope this helps you decide.

My desk lamp of the last 7 years had it socket-rotary switch fail. I did not want to simply get rid of the desk lamp as it was really a beautifully well designed weighty eye pleasing piece of furniture. A quick Google search led me to this product that from all reviews was a very similar match. Turns out to be a perfect match. Received my purchased at around 9:00pm. I had installed it the following day and am now up and running without a hitch. Very nice sturdy product and no stretch in me easily recommending this with 2 thumbs up.

I would give it five stars if the delayed delivery (for over 7 days) did not happen. It seemed to be some mistake made during shipment as it supposed to be delivered within two days according to the original shipping estimate. It was installed on my desk lamp to replace the old one and has worked as expected so far.

My switch arrived 2 days early, and I couldn’t have been happier. I had knocked one of my favorite lamps over and was eager to get it fixed. This worked perfectly. I had it wired up and together in no time.

The product is good as it uses screws to secure power wires, mounts in standard swing arm lamp holes, switches on/off smoothly. The big problem is Amazon ships these CERAMIC & PHENOLIC (breakable) bulb sockets in thin padded paper bags. Two of the eight sockets I ordered came with corners cracked off the phenolic right next to where one of the power wires would connect. I super glued the broken piece back on and did the installation.AMAZON: USE CARDBOARD BOXES WITH PADDING MATERIALS WHEN SHIPPING PRODUCTS THAT ARE FRAGILE AND/OR BREAKABLE.

had to perform surgery to make it non shorting could not be botherd sending it back since i waited A MONTH for it to arive also it is hard to turn longjevity now comes to mind
