Having Both Connectors Is Very Helpful
I bought a tablet computer a few years ago that only has USB-C ports on it. I personally am a fan of shifting everything over to USB C, but it obviously has the issue of needing adapters or dongles to connect as the world is shifting to having everything the USB C. The USB-A side of this works great, so does the USB C. Both sides appear to the connected device as if a flash drive is just been plugged in. Works on a phone, or a tablet running a mobile operating system, as well as on a PC no matter which side you plug in. I have not tried to transfer any large files so I can't really speak to the transfer speed specifically at this time. The pricing was great on it. (In fact I was worried I was going to have to pay a lot for something like this, but this one is just fine.)Very plain aesthetic, I did actually find that the caps were a little hard to take off? Not something that I would give it fewer stars for though? More like if you just put some hand lotion on or something, or your fingers are damp at all, you might have to squeeze real good to get the caps off. I suppose I also don't love that there is nowhere to put the end covers? So they could get lost? But a lot of times I'm not transporting a flash drive like this, so if it's just sitting on a desk and I'm using it to move files from my tablet computer to a 3D printer that does not have a USB C port, losing the caps wouldn't even be the end of the world.

Works great
So far. O problems. My phone is my computer. It's great for larger files.

Adaptable Drive
Some of my devices have USB-C, and some the old USB-A. This is the perfect bridge to transfer data between the two without adapter cables. My only complaint is that it fell apart the first time that I tried to pull off the protective cap. However, a little superglue fixed it.

Useless junk
No devices of mine are recognizing this in either type c or the type a side. Tried 3.0 USB slots as well as regular. It also came out of it's shell the first time I tried to unplug it. Absolute waste of money.

Easy and convenient to use
I got this to backup photos directly from my phone to USB without having to go through my computer as a middleman or using an adaptor. I really enjoy that it can be used separately on either device. The transfer rate seems pretty standard, not any slower than if I were transferring off of my computer itself. The USB lights up when in use and has the same eject options whether using on my computer or phone. I do have to take off my phone case to use it with the phone because the USB C end is standard length and the body of the USB is not sized to be compatible with phone cases. Personally this isn't a big deal since my case is easy enough to remove and a small inconvenience for not having to also hook the phone up to the computer to move files, but this might be an issue for someone else.
