German comedy exploring the complexities of modern relationships, both straight and gay. Christoph (Christoph M. Ohrt) is a tough cop who has just been thrown out by his fiancée and decides to get drunk. Waking up the next day in the arms of gay mechanic Edgar (Tim Bergmann), Christoph can't remember the events of the previous night and is horrified to think that he might have slept with another man. Although confused, Christoph still takes up Edgar's offer to move in with him, as having been thrown out by his fiancée he's now homeless. When his new living arrangements fuel gossip and speculation around the police station, Christoph's friends are forced to re-evaluate their ideas about sexuality and relationships.

Simple, but entertaining
A German comedy about a guy who rows with his girlfriend, gets thrown out of the house, gets drunk and wakes up the next day in bed with a naked gay man. The question is, did he or didn't he have sex with him. He can't remember. He ends up sharing a flat with him new gay friend and the film looks at how his life as an undercover cop at the local police station has changed now his colleagues know he's living with a gay man.Quite funny in places and a nice film to watch. German language with sub-titles.

Very cute and funny film
I enjoyed this so much and it made me laugh and feel good too! Christoph Ohrt reminds me of 'Big' in Sex and the City - but maybe a bit younger version! The characters are all interesting and it kept me gripped throughout as to what would happen next. The 'straight' hero has some really touching moments with gay Edgar and the overall feel is very positive. There are clear emotional feelings between the two and that's portrayed very well - not the usual 'humour' whenever these things happen in these sorts of films to cover embarassment etc. and that the 'straight' guy can't deal with the other side of himself without joking it away. I loved this film and definitely recommend it.

Regular Guys
Do not be put off by the fact that the film is in German. After the first couple of minutes, you forget that you are reading the English subtitles. The acting is first class and the dialogue very clever. There are several times where one actor's words are turned back on them. It's very witty. The characters are all well rounded and you can see the relationships developing between all of them. This isn't just a gay movie, it's a great movie about people (of all different persuasions) finding their way in life. Rather than being a heavy soul searching film, it is light but not without substance and outrageous funny in places too.I bought it after reading the other reviews and I'm really glad that I did.

I wasn't sure what realy to excpect but was very pleasently suprise, i found it funny, well acted, and full of unexcpected twists. The movie did not have any unexplainded stuff going on that makes you wonder "but why this""who is that and where do they come from"Would recommend it

Don't judge the book by its cover
I completely fell in love with this film since the first time I saw it. The characters are so subtle and witty. The actor, Christoph M. Ohrt is so handsome and funny in the film. The music in the film are also very good. I can't wait to have a sountrack CD of this film. The theme piano score is composed by Peter Schmitt and it is incredibly beautiful. It is definitely a feel good movie and I really enjoyed this.

Boys will be boys
Nice plot, nice actors, all ends happily for everyone and it is actually quite funny. Gay movies are very often stereotypical and this one is different. Worth a try,.
