A podiatrist prescribed me this orthotic after OTC insoles did not correct my plantar fasciitis. The orthotic I received from Langer Biomechanics is a stiff piece of plastic with a single layer of white leather glued to the top. My foot gets tender and achy after walking short distances and I have a bone spur. I need more cushion than this orthotic provides.Neither my podiatrist or me could get a refund from this company, and it will be 3 years before insurance will allow a replacement RX. Please do not buy this orthotic if you walk better on cushioned surfaces than hard surfaces. Full thickness foam-type exist and may better serve your needs.
