Perfect solution for limp mode on my clapped out 2000 GTI. Set it at 12 pounds and forget it. It is right at the lower end of it's adjustment however for such a schmedium boost setting. Plenty of spring to torch a piston or zap your KO3, so be careful.

I bought one of these BoostValve kits for my 2004.5 Jetta GLI and they are definatley a great value for the money. My car is currently on stage one software and I wanted a little more boost. I ran the MBC inline with my stock N75 Boost Control. It works well and allows you to increase peak boost and especially boost hold. I decided on a BoostValve setup becasue they are well sought after in the VW tuning community and have proven to be safe and reliable (Something you always should consider when modding a VW). The only downside of running this manual boost controller is that your car will go to full boost after you pass 5 PSI. This will cause your car to feel a little bit more jerky. Overall its a great upgrade and will make your car quite a bit faster as long as you can deal with un-smooth part throttle.GREAT MOD FOR THE CASH
