I read reviews on this product. Many stated it was fitting smaller than expected. So I bought the larger size and it fit better than others had stated.I have only worn it once and will be trying again. The shirt seemed to ride up onto my waist line. I tried moving my underwear to over the top of it but since it is super soft material, my underwear would not hold it in place. I like the feel of the shirt and believe it will help with back support and abdomen support. I am trying to see if there is any other way to hold it in place. If it were in a long or x-long size it might work better. But I bought some underwear that is compressed and will try to hold it into place. The material is great, the shirt and product is very nice. I bought some other type and they were thin and very compressed but they are 3x the price. Also they were suited for carrying a weapon under a regular shirt. The other good thing I would say about this shirt is that it is thicker and might help a person to use as layering for cold weather. I am a very hot person, and no in the hot as in good looking, but hot as in steam/heat comes off my body during the day. So I will be only able to use these in winter times. I usually don't need to wear more than a long sleeve shirt in the winter (0-25 degree's) and yes I always get asked "don't you own a coat"? I do but again I am unusually warm natured. So I think that I will be ordering another as soon as I find a way to keep the shirt from riding up. I have a 48" chest, 5'7" tall, waist is 37-38", shoulders are 56"-57". I'm not tall and I don't have a long trunk of upper body. So I usually buy the largest shirt and they are most of the time long enough. I hope this review helps someone while deciding to purchase this garment. Again, it is very nice material and it fits well. The design is what I am looking for but if I could change just one thing, it would be length or put a strap or tie down to attach from the front side of the shirt and down threw the crotch area and attach to back of shirt. That would help keep it in place, but as I am writing this, it doesn't sound like it would feel very good in a certain area. But I may use Velcro and experiment with that. I think that everything about this garment is what I am looking for and the quality seems to be very good. So If I get this working out with other ways, and keep expenses down, then I would defiantly buy more. Thanks and good luck.

I was shocked when I opened the box of this package to find a garment that was pre-wrinkled despite folding which had the straps that should wrap around the shoulders appear more as a woman's tube top might and less as a man's tank-top shapewear top!The 'straps' are barely one-half inch across, and the elastic-wrapped sides have multiple sections along their edges where they obviously have multiple pieces of fabric that were joined together, but instead of trimming the pieces of one piece off and then sewing the next onto the former, the manufacturer has simply left the last piece dangling off the side of the garment!Further, the elastic is badly curling inward in a state I've never seen a manufacturer allow to pass quality control, much less allow it to be used widely in the construction of garments. The elastic is tightly curled, causing the entire strap to curl in on itself, making the entire garment uncomfortable to wear and unsuitable for use.I don't know what passes for quality control with this manufacturer and retailer, but I can understand how other buyers were receiving used garments if this is the type of QC that is standard practice.
