Parents Need This Book!
As a parent to three children between 15 and 7, I was excited to read this book. I am always looking for new ways to enhance my communication with them and aid them in becoming the self-assured, independent adults that I dream of. This book was an excellent book written in easy to understand, clear English that allowed me to really take away some tips to help me in relating not only to my children, but other adults as well. It is written to both help you communicate with your child better, but also to teach them how to communicate with others. We are to be an example to our children and this book stresses that thought in that we should do what we want them to do. I appreciated the up-front, clear approach to NLP and how to apply it to your life as a parent and present it to your child.

Too short
Needs to expand, it's basic, for people with no knowledge of NLP. A second book with more real life situations is needed

WASTE OF MONEY!
As I said on the other book Engaging NLP for Children, all the books in this series are lacking. Large margins on all sides, very little information compared to many other books available at Amazon. Large double spaced print with very little content. It can be read in one sitting. Spend your money on something more substantial.

Very Poor
Judy Bartkowiak doesnt seem to do justice to NLP for parents. It appears that the pages of the book have been filled with words with big letters just to make a book. Judy seriously needs to read Sue Atkin's books on parenting skills to learn the rudiments of NLP and how to explain it in the form of books. Waste of money......

don't waste your time arguing with teenagers!
Get even by mirroring their silly behaviour, or "de-escalate" conflict situations with these very practical techniques. When we realise how powerful language is to not only "modify" behaviour but replace bad habits with better ones both parities can benefit from the experience. Also useful for teachers! And of course parents can learn to become more effective at handling the teenagers in others. Practical, clear, useful and very accessible - so you don't have to be a psychology major to use it

Brilliant
I picked this book because I am a mother, a parent coach and NLP Practitioner. I wanted to practice NLP in my own parenting and help my clients to do the same. The exercises in this book are simple, but very very affective. NLP can transform you as a parent and help you to support your child to grow up with a high self-esteem. I would recommend this book for parents who want to support their children to be well-rounded individuals.
