The cutest book for my granddaughter, The Brat! 🌸🌸
Loved reading this book to my granddaughter. Ellie, learned her lesson when she had a tantrum and wanted an elephant. The elephant taught her about sharing and not having her way all the time was so nice. 🌸

This book was adorable! It teaches a lesson in catchy rhyming phrases without being preachy. The pictures are very cute and the language is very British. All in all a big hit!

Adorable Book Hides a Great Message
This book has a great message hidden inside a delightful story. The zany and cute artwork by Cally Johnson-Isaacs is a perfect match for Shields' story of one father loving his daughter enough to give her what she needs. It's really nice to see the father as the only parent in the story. It's not often done. Usually if a parent is featured in a story, it's the mother. And just like Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Ellie learns manners and understanding go a long way.I received a copy of this book from the publisher. This review contains my honest opinions, which I have not been compensated for in any way.

Great book!
This is a great book to teach your toddler to say "please" and "thank-you," and it's so entertaining that it's one of the favorites.

What happens to children that get and have everything they've ever wanted? Well, they become spoiled rotten, ungrateful, ill-mannered little booghers! Meet Ellie. She has everything and continues to want more. And on top of that , she's bossy. She wouldn't eat or sleep or brush her hair. She wouldn't smile or play or do her homework. She wouldn't even get out of bed until she got what she wanted. Her father pleaded with her, but she wouldn't budge until she got an ELEPHANT! He fussed and fretted and made a lot of calls and finally Ellie got her elephant. Ellie made demands to her elephant but he wouldn't budge. As a matter of fact, he took over all her stuff, and Ellie threw a tantrum. The tables had turned. The Elephant had his own agenda. He wore her best clothes. He ate her breakfast. He played with her toys. And if he didn't get what he wanted he had an enormous ELEPHANTANTRUM!How will Ellie get back all that she holds so dear? This lively story with cheery multi-colored pictures and patterns will have little ones giggling and wondering what will happen next. Simple sentences make learning to read fun and easy. Parents and teachers can use this tool to teach manners by showing and discussing with little ones how to treat people the way you want to be treated and to always say please and thank you.

Great book that my little one loves
My little girl loves this book, she had a copy of it before I ordered this one and would take it with her out and about until one day silly Mummy left it on the top of the car whilst she was strappy her into her car seat.... Mummy drove off and didn't realise and the book went on it's own little journey. Luckily this seller saved the day as I was quickly able to order another copy that is in great condition and it came super fast to us! Thank you

Great for teaching about tantrums
My daughter and I love this book. It teaches her about not always getting your way and we now use the phrase 'elephantrum' to diffuse real tantrums! Lovely pictures too - we first saw this book in the library and then bought it.

Printed Wrong
The book was put together wrong...half the story was printed, then the pages repeated themselves from the beginning half way through the book, but again only the first half of the story!
