These were a good price, arrived quickly and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. I was expecting Dollar Tree quality, but this toy is much better. The plastic is not brittle or flimsy and there are no sharp edges. If the fishing poles get dinged or knocked out of service due to rough housing (it's bound to happen with kids), they are easily repairable. The magnets on the fish are strong enough to make fishing successful. Of course, this toy is supposed to be used with supervision (not only because it's to be used around water, or not) because of the magnets that could potentially be dislodged. We have not had that happen, but I am cautious with any toy and the potential hazards. The girls (ages 4 and 8) have used this at bath time and also outdoors in the kiddie pool for hours of fishing fun. This comes with a wide variety of fish and sea life, enough to turn into a sorting game or add different aspects to our "fishing tournaments" (for example, "catch all the sharks", or "catch all the blue fish, or only the red fish"). This is one of our Amazon purchases that was beyond our expectations, just when we were thinking of giving up Amazon.

Very cute and colorful. The magnets work well. My 3 year old grandson loved it. He played with it before the birthday party and ended up pulling off one of the worms. He rolled the string up and there was no way to fix it. No place to tie on a new string. So we were 1 pole down at the party. The kids loved it and played with it a long time that day. When packing up I found another broken pole with no string and worm. So I'd love to say this is a great set but the poles are not well made enough that they work beyond a few hours. I still have 2 poles but put it up for special occasions. The poles need to be redesigned where you can replace the broken string. The pole itself is pretty durable. Just the string is terrible and can't be replaced or repaired with the design of the pole. Great fish tho. Good size and easy to catch in a tub of water.

I set this up in the backyard at our 4th of July party for the smaller kids to enjoy. I bought a small plastic pool,filled with water and put the magnetic fish in there. Kept them busy throughout the party , catching fish. Nice colors. The quality is pretty good, one of the strings on 1 of the poles did break. I was concerned they wouldnt last too long but 3 out if the 4 poles made it out alive lol They all seemed to have a great time with it. Easy to clean,after the party I just set all the pieces out on a towel to dry. Will be using it again.

My 4 year old LOVES these!

The quality is cheap. you get alot of fishes and it's nice to have the 4 poles and 4 nets. After 1 day of play, 3 of the poles already broke. the string came off of one, the second one the string tread was weak and thinned out, and the third the tip of the magnet worm broke and magnet was lost. I bought for my son's birthday so kids ages 3-6 years old were playing.

Got this for younger kids with sensory processing issues to play during a field day. Huge hit especially with younger kids in preschool. Easy to clean up and assemble. Light weight and fun.

I got this for my youngest she really likes fishing I thought this was a neat idea. The all the supplies are pretty basic but definitely functional I feel like they can break easily since they’re very thin plastic. On the plus side it being plastic is nice because it’s very light for toddlers and it’s perfect for their little hands. And the screws that are in where the fishes mouth are I would suggest just making sure you watch them that they don’t come out because that’s obviously a choking hazard but it’s a very clever idea. The magnetic “bait” at the end of the fishing poles is pretty strong it connects to the fish pretty easily. The mesh bag is really nice because if you use them in water and then package it in the bag it can easily dry. I feel like we’re definitely gonna have lots of fun with this toy set this summer.

I can't believe this was $25. These were made as cheaply as possible. Paint was already coming off just from rubbing around in the box, the box also came super damaged. The magnets are tiny, about 1.5-2mm big, and sit in awkward places on the "fish" which makes it really hard to actually pick up with the tiny magnet on the fishing rod line. I returned and will be looking for something with a bit more durability, and less frustration for my little when she uses it.

My son is obsessed with fishing so this was exactly what I needed. It is a pack of four but this works for us since he likes us to fish with him too. He uses these in the bath or even just to play in the living room. The magnets work and the reel can wind/unwind the string. It's a great toy that any little fisherman/woman will enjoy.
